「The room was relatively clean, could use a dusting, lots of old cobwebs in corners, and when moving a chair dirt and dead bugs on the floor and in corners, but it provided a cheap place to spend a night, check in was easy, and front desk was friendly.」

I'd give the bed a top rating, slept really well. Although some aspects of the room was a little worn (floor/tub) I think the age of the property and price reflects this, so it wasn't something I would not have expected or was personally bothered by. 「Overall, disappointing. I chose a pricier place for a wedding visit, and this was a letdown. It was basically a glorified motel. The hairdryer was attached to the wall and very cheap. There was no iron in the room. The bedding is tired, and the bathroom needs to be updated. I could hear guests above and below us. It was basically a glorified motel. For $200 a night in Powell River, I expected more. There is no breakfast on site.」
