Top Brewster County Hotel Reviews

Quality Inn Alpine
10/10 Excellent
"Nice hotel, room was huge and everything was ok breakfast is very american style and is good"

Big Bend Station
10/10 Excellent
"My expectations for a non-5 star rustic motel (camping, rv hookup, etc.) at the entrance to a national park in an area not overly developed were not high. The place was clean and well kept. The air conditioner was easy to work and totally necessary in June. The breakfast buffet in the cafe across the highway (we were in the annex across from the main bldg.) was not included but was affordable and very, very good. If it is a slow period and no one is at the counter, just go up and wait a minute for someone to see you. It's worth the wait."

Chisos Mining Co Motel
8/10 Good
"It was a very nice place in the cabin considering this is a desert location."

Big Bend Lodging at Ten Bits Ranch | Room #3 (The Gun Shop)
10/10 Excellent
"We loved our little Gun Ship cabin. It was ready for us when we arrived, and even better than we expected. It's off-grid for electricity and water, but we didn't suffer. The A/C worked and plenty of bottled water was provided. There was a TV in the room, but we never turned it on. The kitchen was convenient and well stocked. I cooked twice. This little collection of cabins is in the desert, off the beaten path. Sitting out at night is amazingly quiet--no traffic, no hoard of noisy insects, not even a coyote. We live in the country, but not quiet country like this area. The night skies were amazing. Highly recommend this relaxing getaway! Our dog accompanied us, and we enjoyed walking on the property during the cooler parts of the day. The cabins are on a ridge that narrows and has a trail to the end with views of the mountains and surrounding gorge. It's a short drive to the southeast to visit Big Bend National Park and a short drive to the southwest to visit Big Bend State Park. We had a satisfying steak dinner for our anniversary at the Starlight Theater Restaurant and enjoyed browsing through the Trading Post next door to the restaurant. If you plan to float the river in a canoe or kayak, you may want to check the water levels first. I paid for a trip, but the water levels were very low, which meant carrying the kayak or canoe at least a dozen times. We decided it would be too hard on my husband's back. Wonderful, well-maintained property!"

Lajitas Golf Resort and Spa
10/10 Excellent
"Beautiful oasis in the desert! The staff and grounds are wonderful! Very accommodating to specific needs. Would definitely stay again"

OYO Alpine TX near Big Bend National Park
6/10 Okay
"This hotel is definitely past its prime but for the price, it provided a bed for the 7 hours of sleep I required before checkout. The best part of my stay was being woken up by the smell of breakfast being made by Casa Guame right next to the hotel. The two burritos were some of the best I’ve had in a long time."

The Holland Hotel
8/10 Good
"The history behind the hotel and the beauty in keeping the historical features intact are what drew me to this property. The town is small so parking wasn’t a problem. Coffee & pastries were promised for breakfast however after getting up early to get some I was told they were out. This was at 6:30am. I asked if they would be getting anymore and was told no."

Antelope Lodge
4/10 Poor
"I thought I knew I was getting with Antelope Lodge, a clean room with functioning amenities for a budget price. The upside down dead cockroach in the bathroom was a bummer, as was the non-working television. Is $87/night too much to expect for a room with no dead cockroach, a working tv, and an actual human at the front desk to help you fix the tv? Yes, apparently, according to the faceless, anonymous owners of Antelope Lodge who left no help phone number. How much effort would have been required to check the room before my arrival to remove the cockroach corpse and fix the tv? Too much effort, according to the owners of Antelope Lodge."
