"The staff was quite rude and with attitude. No free water is absolutely ridiculous for a 4 star hotel. No drinks with a dinner is very strange. Buffet style dinner was amazing, but the portions of the evening meals were like for children."

The room was very clean and there was good game rooms and the view outside was to die for. The only bad thing was that you had to carry your skis around 350 meters before you could get to the skiing spot. Overall we had a blast and we recommend it as a place to have your ski holiday and relax. It is a lot of fun for both kids and parents 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️"

"The check-in and staff were great. Super cheerful and nice. The room, bring ear plugs. I didn't realize the "mountain view" also means all the rooms face the street and its just noisy because its the main street into town. The windows/door sound like its cracked open because it was so loud to me. (and if your sensitive to light, bring an eyemask too, the triangle window at the top has no curtain) Breakfast was 13E per person and it quaint. Eggs and sausage made to order. (sausage means hot dogs by the way) The use of the sauna was an extra 14E per person. The free bus into town is right outside. The little lake is right next to the hotel (but its frozen right now) and its just about an 8 min walk to the bigger lake strba pleso! "

"We had a great stay at the Kempinski High Tatrus. This hotel had an established, genuinely 5 star feel. It knows what it is, and delivers brilliantly. The setting is outstanding, with a frozen lake and snow on the ground, but we didn’t see a cloud in 4 days. The service is great, and the breakfast generous. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable; there is a pillow and duvet menu… all in a great stay. "

"This was a really nice place with spectacular view from the balcony. The only 2 pain points were parking in the garage was very tight and no AC in room . We were there in end of August and the room was very hot … difficult go fall asleep. The option to open window was there but a lot of mosquitoes and bugs"
