The main building is 148 years old as are most of the structures in town so things are for sure aged. This in my opinion adds to the experience and shouldn’t take away anything. The history and friendly staff all but made up for it. The menu is excellent and did not disappoint!! There other options in town but I prefer The Bridgeport Inn.

Historic great hotel

Great hotel. Great location. Great bar across the street. The property is older, it had great service and location, but the beds were not very comfortable. The hotel was very clean. There is also a bar and restaurant on the property, but we did not eat there.

It was a great stay in an over 100 year old hotel. It was decorated in traditional 1800s antiques and wallpaper and was a comfortable room. We will stay there again.

this was a traditional motor inn: simple room with the typical amenities, able to park right outside the door. We've stayed here often, and it works out perfectly for our fishing trips in the area.
