Beautiful Hotel

Booked here cos it's walking distance to our son's dorm who just graduated from Bristol University. Very unique interior with a vintage vibe. Love it. One downside is that no air con.

No AC makes the room really hot during the summer, a fan was provided but made little difference and was really noisy. Walls are paper thin so you hear everything from the hallways. Bed rather uncomfortable and hard, not really hotel standards on pillows either. Shame because the location is good.

Cute boutique vibe in central Clifton

Lovely hotel with really friendly staff. Nice toiletries and a chilled, warm atmosphere. Easy walking to distance to lots of great spaces. Definitely recommend.

Pleasant room, pleasant safe convenient location, nice staff dedicated to this hotel, good value. Only let down by hairs left in bathroom and bath ,bed not particularly comfortable .. would I stay again,yes I would.

Overall very good

Positives - Overall Great, got a room upgrade to a suite, very comfortable and overall, clean. Nice bed and all the facilities you could want. The concierge/reception was great and good customer service. I didnt eat there. Negatives, £18 a bit steep for breakfast... couple of hairs on the shower head... and not much insulation on the old windows, so when the binmen came at 5am it woke me up as it was loud and lasted forever.

Graduation night stay

One night stay. Good sized room with small en-suite. Great choice of items in fridge with fruit, sherry, tea, coffee provided. On arrival the room had an odd smell which we attributed to the drains possibly? We didn’t report it as after a while we got used to it and once the bathroom door was shut, it wasn’t that strong. Great location to explore Bristol but quite noisy as in a popular city centre/student location.

Amazing overall

Amazing overall. Great staff. Special thank you to Kizzi for cleaning the room so brilliantly. Great breakfast. Shame no restaurant, or bar, on a Sunday. Good selection of teas/coffees in bed room, plus sherry, fruit and biscuits. Only downside the bedrooms were so hot. Next time we stay we will get that sorted before we go to bed. I realise we could have phoned reception but we were tired. Still slept ok-beds were lovely and soft.

Berkeley Square stay

Stayed here quite a few times and it’s a convenient stop over. Check in was effortless and the room bigger than expected. The only downside was the drilling going on. We were in room 21 and clearly some renovations were going on. Never a good time to undertake renovations but some advance warning would have been welcome. Not once were we advised and at check out the receptionist was blissfully unaware of any work going on. Communication?
