Clean room and friendly staff. We needed a family room for the night as we were visiting the university open day. The room was functional, but the beds were not comfortable and the furnishings are tired looking. I wouldn't recommend for a holiday stay but if you're just looking for a basic overnight day, it was okay.

Plenty of parking. Rooms dated but very clean. Very nice breakfast buffet continental with option of cooked to order English. Ariaana was especially lovely. When we told her we were there for my Mums funeral she later brought us chocolates and a lovely message of condolence.

1. There were many dead bees to start off with 2. Bedside lamps didn’t even work so we had to sleep with the main light on. 3. The pressure of the sink in the toilet was disastrous as it was too high and would go everywhere and the water kept turning on and off . 4. The main light kept flickering. 5. There was also no staff in the property and when we faced some problems in the night and we weren’t comfortable to phone them in the night .

It was disappointing. Checking in was quick and simple, and the person (owner?) said that the property was in the process of being refurbished. But the room was tired, the door had a huge gap underneath, there was black mould on the ceiling of the ensuite. The pictures on the website can be deceiving. As a place to bunk for a night its cheap enough. Breakfast is extra, even though the property is advertised as a bed and breakfast, which should mean breakfast is included in the room rate.
