"Hotei seems to be under new management so they are getting things going. With that said, my room was excellent, clean and had all the amenities needed. Bed was comfortable. My only criticism is I wished they had a detachable shower head instead of the fixed rain head shower. No problems with my overnight stay or the free shuttle to/from the airport. All staff were very friendly."

"I would not recommend staying at this hotel if you want to avoid being charged for damages you did not cause. When I checked in, I immediately noticed issues with the room—there were two holes in the bathroom door and makeup stains all over the bed. Because I arrived late and had an early flight the next morning, I took photos and reported the damage to staff the following day. I was reassured at the time that I would not be held responsible. Despite this, I was later charged $232 for the damages. When I contacted the hotel, I was told I would need to wait 24–48 hours while they conducted an “investigation,” as there was no record that I had reported the issue. Although I was eventually refunded, that was the extent of the resolution. I spent unnecessary time dealing with this situation and received no phone call apology or any goodwill gesture, such as a discount on a future stay. Overall, this was a frustrating and disappointing experience. I hope the hotel improves its internal communication and documentation processes to prevent situations like this from happening to other guests."
