"Room was clean and spacious even with 4 people. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was basic but good. Staff was attentive. Big shout out to Jackie who took care of the breakfast and dining room. "Both the town and the hotel have seen better days. It was clear that funds for maintenance are tight. That showed up in worn-through rugs and wallpaper that needed replacing. But, and this is a big but, overall the hotel was safe, reasonably quiet, very friendly, as clean as possible with old rugs ..."
