“The cottage is lovely and was perfect for my sister and I to enjoy a few days in Devon. It’s been sympathetically modernised inside without losing any of its original charm. All was clean, tidy and well maintained. Even with a pub just a few doors down, it’s quiet and we weren’t disturbed at all. There’s a lovely terrace to enjoy the morning/evening sun. “Ruhige Lage. Auto empfehlenswert. Für uns ideal, da wir von dort jeden Tag Ausflüge in die Umgebung (Darthmouth, Green Way, Coleton Fishacre) gemacht haben. Gut für Selbstversorger, Küche sehr gut ausgestattet. Zimmer sauber, Betten bequem. Bad sehr stylish, aber Duschen in Badewanne etwas schwierig ohne das Bad zu überschwemmen.”

“The house was fantastic. Very well equipped and the younger boys loved the bunk bed room (especially the tv in their room). The town centre is easily accessible from the house and so is open walking space. Lovely beaches within easy reach and breakfast or lunch at the Guardhouse Café on Berry Head is a must. The owner was great. Fantastic communication and a lovely selection of goodies on arrival. Highly recommended this property.”

“Fantastic property to stay in with stunning sea views. This property is just perfect for a break in Dawlish. The property was very clean, nicely decorated and very well equipped with everything needed for a very comfortable stay, a real home from home! Spy room and gym was a great bonus and the cosy children zone was a big hit ! Hosts Tony and Cheryl were most welcoming and helpful. There was absolutely nothing to fault. We had a wonderful time and we hope to visit again in the future.”

“I contacted the property hosts before booking as I would be arriving late and they were very helpful and accommodating. I also received check in details over text so great to refer back to on arrival with a fried brain from a long drive. “We were 3 families with mostly older teens and young adults. House was very well equipped and in a great location for the seafront. There is short term parking outside for unloading and then a cheap long stay car park a few minutes walk away. House was a good size with a sunny backyard area with large table. Contrary to other reviews, there are 2 proper showers which was more than adequate for us. Everything was very clean and ready to go with keypad entry so easy to get in.”
