Wake up to birdsong, sip coffee in a sun-drenched porch, and row across the mirror-still waters of Tydingesjön. At our lakeside cabin, life slows down — kids chase each other through the garden, dogs nap under the trees, and evenings end with barbecues as the sun sets golden over the water.
This isn’t just a stay, it’s a retreat into nature with all the cozy comforts of home.
The space
Why You’ll Love It • Unplug by the lake: Step outside to your own private garden, grab the rowboat, and paddle across Tydingesjön. Fish for perch, take a swim, or simply drift as the forest wraps around you.
• Gather together: Cook a simple meal in the rustic kitchen, then dine alfresco under the trees. In the evenings, curl up by the crackling wood stove or watch a movie in the annex lounge.
• Sleep easy: The cabin and annex sleep up to 6 comfortably (8 max). Think: master bedroom with crisp linens, kids giggling in bunk beds, and the sound of the forest lulling everyone to sleep.
• For families, couples & pets: Kids love the outdoor games, pets love the endless trails, and couples love the peace and privacy.
The Experience
Your day here might look like this: • Start with a lakeside paddle, mist rising off the water. • Wander through forest trails picking mushrooms in autumn or wildflowers in spring. • Take the kids into Broby for ice cream, or explore castles and sculpture parks nearby. • Return to grill dinner in the garden, then watch the stars from the dock.
It’s about slowing down, breathing deeper, and making memories together.
Extras (to make it special) • Rowboat included for fishing & lake adventures. • Kayaks available for rent (delivered to your door). • Private yoga sessions with a local yogi — sunrise by the lake or candlelit indoors. Can be organised prior to your arriving
Good to Know • Pets welcome (garden is naturally enclosed). • Main cabin has shower + laundry; annex has basin + compost toilet. • Best suited for 6 guests; 8 possible with a snug fit.
