I couldn't have had a nicer time at the Huntsman. I was staying outside in one of the 'cottage' type rooms. It was spotless, beautiful, and warm. The bathroom was immaculate and the bed was so comfortable! The location was a great base to go off on my hikes during the day, and I liked that there was room outside the rooms for muddy boots! The staff were friendly, warm, and helpful at every turn. I was travelling solo and made to feel very welcome dining alone in the evening, and the morning breakfast was delicious - lovely to have a veggie breakfast option! Many thanks, I hope to return!

We stayed at The Huntsman for one night on the way to Cornwall. The staff were friendly and welcoming to us and the dog. The room was clean and as it was set back from the road, nice and quiet too. We didn’t eat but the food looked appetising! Overall, a great place to stop for a night or two if you’re on a mini break to the New Forest.
