    The apartment is very secure, quiet and private. Queen size bed, sleeps 2 Ensuite, A/C, fridge, microwave, toaster, tea, coffee, 55 inch flatscreen, Netflix, Foxtel and off road undercover parking with remote access gate. The town centre is 5 minutes walk away past scenic Sturt park. Cafes and coffee shops are close by. Wi Fi is available free of charge.
    There is a private court yard with an outdoor setting to relax and enjoy our sunny days.

Our unit was how Peter and Deb had described. On arrival, Peter was there to greet us and give us a brief rundown of the unit.The place was secure, with the latest technology for ease of entry. The units surrounds had a pleasant ambience, with lovely gardens and lighting. We found it was an easy 10 min walk to the main street. Overall we had a very pleasant stay.

Parking is easy and secure.Room is modern and clean. Wi-Fi is fast and having Netflix is a big bonus. Great to have some treats in the fridge. Bed is super comfortable. Wardrobe is spacious.Out host Peter is really friendly and makes us feel very welcome. Would be even better to have a kitchen sink for dishwashing in the future.

Our stay

We had a lovely stay The apartment was very comfortable and we needed for nothing. It is in a very quiet location also. Pete and Debbie couldn't do too much for you. I would recommend this accommodation to anyone who is visiting Broken Hill.

I absolutely loved my time at ‘The Apartment on Mica’ Peter and Debbie were exceptional hosts, who went above and beyond in every way possible to ensure we had a fantastic trip. Within moments of meeting Peter we felt as though we were a part of the family, and am looking forward to staying again, on my next trip to Broken Hill. 10/10 recommended staying here, you won’t be disappointed, a little slice of luxury so close to town.

If you are operating a B & B you should invest in a good quality mattress. The bed in this property consisted of two mattresses The top one was a lumpy foam mattress which was uncomfortable. The sheets did not fit properly and the bottom fitted sheet continuously pulled away from the mattress. There was no tissues, paper towel or tea towel supplied.

Quick Trip

The booking process was quick and easy and the accommodation was very comfortable and private. The air-conditioner was nice and cold in the 40'C heat and it was lovely having freshly ironed sheets on my bed. I enjoyed my stay at Peter and Deb's place and would love to stay there when I next go back to Broken Hill.

Deb and Peter are Great Hosts, very welcoming and we had great chats with them. Communication is excellent and the room is spotlessly clean and homely. We enjoyed the outside garden area which is very private. The City centre is within walking distance to pubs, restaurants and there is a Foodland nearby. We will be staying there on our visits to Broken Hill.

Great studio

What a little gem this find was. The hosts are friendly and very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The accommodation was very clean and even though a studio size area there was a microwave,kettle and toaster. The pictures are true to size and accommodate two people easily. Fabulous bed and plenty of hot water. We did walk to the main Street which was about a 10 min walk before getting our hire car. Definitely stay here again.
