Fantastic " home away from home " experience

Good location only 30 min drive from Lake St Clair visitor center , 5 min drive to nearby cafe The Hungry Wombat Cafe where we had our lunch. The owner is very friendly and helpful. He nicely greeted and welcomed us. The cabin is extremely clean, spacious and comfotable, the kitchen is well equipped with all cooking utensils. ( remember to prepare some food for dinner) We all had a fantastic , unforgettable and comfortable " home away from home " experience. Highly recommend for your future trip to Bronte Park or Lake St Clair visit .

地方大，寧靜。環境優美，很適合睇星星。附近是 lake st chair, 入住前要買齊食物及用品。有火爐及bbq爐。可惜夜晚停電，有點冷。屋主都有為我們預備洋蠋，gas 爐。

環境、施設の清潔さ、管理者の人柄、星五つ以外には考えられません。ホバートからクレイドル山への車移動の中継地点としか考えていなかったが、できれば三泊くらいしたかった。夜は満天の星空だった。

All accommodation options in this region are expensive. However, Highland cabins are well located (especially if you are a fisherman) and very comfortable. Gloria, the manager, is so helpful. The availability of EV charging on some units is great.

Pleasant surprise

We were a bit concerned about this booking due to its relative isolation but we were very pleasantly surprised. While the outside of the cabins look a little tired the inside of our cabin had been completely re decorated. Lovely bathroom and kitchen and a really comfortable bed. Our welcome couldn't have been warmer and we had a lovely surprise when we were given the opportunity to see some wombats up close and personal !. Lots of little extras including a small bottle of port and free use of laundry facilities. The wifi was good as well !! Very happy.

Excellent place to stay! Staff were very helpful and kind, the cabin was very clean. We had a lovely view of the bush from the cabin. There aren't many eat-out dining options in the area, but the cabin has excellent amentities.
