We just spent the easter weekend there as a group of 9; 6 adults and 3 kids (aged 9 to 5). The property itself is beautiful and picturesque of a french villa. The added bonus of an indoor pool, with hot tub and sauna was why this place was a winner. The kids had soo much fun and there are plenty if games and toys for the kids too. One detail to mention is that the annexe part of the building is apparently for groups of 10. I opted to purchase this additionally once we got there as the bathroom/shower facilities to accommodate 6 adults was not suitable for us. The open bath in the upstairs bedroom was not practical for us, so the 4 adults in the main building shared the one bath shower in the downstairs room. The annexe was comfortable for me, my husband and 3 kids. The only let down here was the lack of hot water available. 2 of us showered one afternoon after swimming and we had no hot water after that and until we left the next day, so had to use the pool shower which is open. I informed Darina and she was very apologetic and couldn't understand why. My point here being that she was contactable and very helpful throughout our stay. She always responded to my messages and we had a few questions whilst there. I would highly recommend this for families that are able to share shower rooms. The garden is soo big and beautiful. All in all we had a great time here and created some wonderful memories. If you are thinking to book something that will keep the kids entertained, do it.

Lovely but not for toddlers or mobility issues

The grounds are amazing - so much space, lots of chairs, great outside dining area and a fantastic pool! The kitchen is small but fully equipped. Beds are comfy (except plastic mattress protectors). For us the room layout was an issue. The two twin beds are actally family rooms with double beds in, not separate as it looks like in the listing photos, which are very misleading. This was frustrating for us as we had to have three children in our room - we had booked here to avoid that happening. The downstairs family room has sinks and a bath but no toilet, you have to use the kitchen one at the opposite end of the house, too far for my 3yr old I in the night (big accident on the way to it) or my 80yr old father in law who has mobility issues. He then had to go to the upstairs family room as the toilet is next door but stairs are very difficult for him and he could only use the outside staircase. The 'kid area' we couldn't use as there is a hole in the floor for an open spiral staircase which the cleaner described as a 'death trap'! They need to cordon it off so children can safely use the toy area. The two other doubles are in a completely different building - that would have been perfect for our family if one room had twin beds. There are lots of steps inside and out as well which was hard for our toddler and my father in law. We would love to return when the children are much older and the whole property is safe for them because it is an amazing place!

Excellent property for 1 or 2 families.The pool / hot tub / sauna / bbq area etc was absolutely fantastic. House was nice and cool, but worth bringing some fans if it's very hot.Great grounds as well, plenty of room.Couple of things to be aware of:The interior staircase is a thin metal spiral, requiring good mobility. There's a 'normal' exterior stairs if needed.A lot of the bedrooms are actually single rooms split up by room dividers etc. Only 3 truly separate bedrooms.

Notre séjour s'est déroulé sans aucun souci. Le logement est bien aménagé, et les chambres bien propres. Peut-être un petit bémol: la cuisine est petite mais quand même bien équipée. Heureusement qu'on a eu un temps merveilleux et on a donc souvent utilisé le barbecue.Le logement, situé au calme dans le village, possède un grand terrain et le jardin était parfaitement entretenu. Mais le vrai àtout de ce logement est son espace détente : la piscine, le jacuzzi et son sauna. Toute la famille s'est régalée.Nous recommandons ce merveilleux logement.

Maison idéale pour se ressourcer en famille ou amis: piscine intérieure, sauna, jacuzzi, magnifique terrain avec maison de jeux pour enfants, ping pong, terrasse... Maison avec cheminée ouverte au top pour les soirées fraiches. Nous avons passé un excellent week end, proprio à l'écoute et personne qui accueille d'une gentillesse rare. Un vrai havre de paix, nous recommandons vivement!

Lovely house, good pool.

Spacious house, with slightly quirky layout. Well equipped but some updating is required. The pool was warm, the garden is huge. Plenty of kitchen items. Very quiet location.

Prima vakantieverblijf

We hebben een prima vakantie gehad in deze woning. De woning is voor 12 personen, en dat klopt qua aantal slaapplekken enzo. Alleen is er geen grote keuken & woonkamer & eetkamer waar meer dan 6 personen in kunnen. Omdat komt doordat het 2 aparte verblijven zijn. Voor ons perfect want we waren met 6 personen. Het zwembad en de jacuzzi zijn heerlijk! Minpunt vond ik het inchecken. Ze dwingen je om allemaal papieren te ondertekenen. Gaat echt heel ver, met hele lijsten met bedragen wat alles waard is voor het geval er iets kapot gaat. De bedragen zijn enorm overschat, want meeste spullen / meubels zijn vrij gedateerd. Ook willen ze een hardcopy van je aansprakelijkheidsverzekering. Heb ik niet gegeven, want dat komt mi pas ter sprake als er iets aan de hand is. Waarschijnlijk allemaal uit risicoperspectief / voorzichtigheid, maar vond het vrij vervelend en argwanend overkomen.

pas top

problème pendant le we nous avons constaté que le lave vaisselle était en panne (10 personnes) le vendredi soir. La propriétaire a fait intervenir un plombier le samedi. De notre retour d'excursion à 17H jusqu'à 20 h30 canalisations bouchées le plombier était dans la maison (marteau piqueur à l'extérieur pour tout déboucher), devoir jongler avec lui dans l'espace cuisine (pas accès à l'évier) pour préparer le repas et devoir faire toute la vaisselle à la main pas top! une couette avec des traces de sang pour l'un d'entre nous pas top non plus! l'espace spa bien juste un problème de température de l'eau de la piscine en arrivant à 25 degrés elle était à 28 le dernier jour.

Super week end familliale au calme

Nous avons passé un tres bon we . La maison est spatieuse et bien équipée : four, cheminée e , barbecue , lave vaisselle , salon spatieux , tv , wifi , plusieurs frigos , le jardin gigantesque avec jeux pour enfants , les chambres bien reparties . ideal pour un Week end au calme pour se retrouver . La piscine, le jacuzzi et le sauna sont un vrai plus dans cette maison . Les proprietaires sont tres sympa: pas de surprise . Tout est clair en arrivant : contrat , heure d arrivée, de depart ( on a meme pu decaller un peu plus tard) , choses permises ou interdites histoire d eviter les mauvaises surprises . Une tres bonne adresse

Great family holiday

This was a family holiday three generations and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves ages from 5 years to 72 years. Quiet sleepy village so hardly any traffic. Villa set in secure position with electronic gates. The garden was enormous so the children enjoyed the space and coupled with the swimming pool they had a wow of a time. There was the hot tub for the adults to relax in and also the sauna. We visited a couple of villages nearby and also drove to Beauvais (about 35 minutes) and got the train to Paris for the day very exciting. The house is a little bit tired but then we were near the end of the season, so maybe a lick of paint will brighten it up for next year. A car is essential. We found the drive from Calais easy one toll road but again not too much traffic. Speak as we found would recommend it.

We had a wonderful holiday in this beautiful property just perfect for our family. The swimming pool, jacuzzi and sauna were enjoyed by all. The outdoor seating location was perfect for the excellent weather and we enjoyed spending most evenings outside. We can’t wait to go back again !

Week-end entre amis et en famille parfait!

C'était parfait! Nous étions 6 adultes et 6 enfants sur un week-end de 3 jours. Excepté pour faire les courses, nous ne sommes pas sortis de la propriété! Pas besoin, il y a tellement d'options pour chacun d'entre nous: piscine, sauna, jacuzzi, barbecue, trampoline, toboggan, la cheminée, et nous avons eu la joie d'avoir le soleil en plus! C'était parfait!! Et je remercie encore la propriétaire qui m'a renvoyé le doudou de mon fils!! A renouveler!

Nous avons de nouveau pu profiter en famille des prestations de qualité de cette propriété de charme très bien entretenue. Juste l escalier en colimaçon qui monte au chambre est dangereux. Quelques petites rénovations dans les chambres ( les tringles des rideaux ) Si non très bien juste que je n ai pas encore récupéré le chèque de caution. Merci
