  • This wonderful cottage is located in Bruff, Ireland and can sleep seven people in three bedrooms.

    Lynchpin Cottage is a lovely cottage located in Bruff, Ireland. It has three bedrooms; one ground floor family room with double and single and two first floor doubles with basins, with a ground floor shower room. Downstairs has a fitted kitchen and an open-plan living room and dining area, with a utility area. Outside has a stone area with access to surrounding fields. Off-road parking is available for several cars. Lynchpin Cottage is the perfect remote retreat in the heart of Ireland.

    Amenities: Oil central heating, woodburning stove. Electric oven and hob, microwave, kettle, fridge, washing machine, tumble dryer. Large screen TV with over 100 channels, a selection of books, games and DVDs and WiFi. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Travel cot, highchair and stairgate. Off-road parking for several cars. Rear stone area. Two well-behaved pets welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop and pub 2 miles. Property is only a 15 minute leisurely drive to Adare Manor where the Ryder Cup in 2026 is being held.

    Region: For an enticing mix of old and new, County Limerick is ideal, with castles and art galleries attracting visitors whilst the tranquil pastureland, forest trails and mountainous scenery of the county make the perfect escape.

    Town: Bruff is a town in County Limerick, Ireland, situated on the Morning Star river. Historical artefacts have been found in the area which date back to the Stone Age, dating this town about 2.5 million years old. Famously, John F. Kennedy was a descendant of the Fitzgeralds of Bruff, with one of its pubs named after him, 'The Kennedy Rooms'. Local amenities include a local store and a selection of pubs and restaurants. With easy access to the centre of Limerick.

A quiet place (what we wanted!)

Les environs sont très calmes,Bruff est assez éloigné des zones les plus fréquentées par les visiteurs, tout en restant proche de Limerick et de la vallée de la Black Water:bonne base pour tourner dans ce coin peu couru.

The Lynchpin Cottage was lovely! Very cozy, well equipped, and so special! We stayed for a week and Were able to do lots of day trips from there. We will recommend it to friends and family! The owner was very responsive when we had questions. Just landed at JFK in NY and am pining for that sweet cottage already! Donna Beer

Cute cottage in a rural setting

Very quaint cottage in a peaceful setting. We loved seeing the farmer gather his cows each morning as well as enjoying the sounds of he birds by the feeder. Being so rural, it took a little drive to get to any major roadway, but we quickly figured out the best routes. The cottage had many nice little amenities such as instant coffee, tea, seasonings, even fries in the freezer. Owner was very responsive when we had a question and gave us suggestions of things to do and where to eat in the area. The bedroom skylights let in quite a bit of light in the morning, so you may want to bring a sleep mask. We also had a bit of trouble figuring out the thermostat, but the owner helped us with that right away. This was a very enjoyable stay!
