“We had the most wonderful stay at this pet-friendly accommodation in Tuncurry! From the moment we arrived, we could hear the soothing sound of the ocean — such a perfect backdrop for a relaxing getaway. The location was absolutely ideal, just a short stroll to the beach, yet peaceful and private enough to truly unwind.Our dogs were welcomed with open arms — there was plenty of space for walks, a secure yard, and even a few thoughtful touches like water bowls and dog beds. “I would have stayed a week if I could have! More time to enjoy more cups of tea on the deck with the sound of birdsong and the gently flowing river below. This place is idyllic. Feels like the most secluded, peaceful place, but 5 minutes drive from the nearest pub or bakery. The owners were helpfully responsive to my email enquiry before our stay, but left us alone to enjoy the experience when we were there. “We loved our short stay at Katandra and didn't want to leave. The homestead is full of warmth and character, with the open kitchen/dining/lounge area, fire place and the wrap around verandah being the focal points for us. We also rented the separate cottage, also with a great view of the farm and the lake. Our dogs were kept comfortable with wide open space and fenced enclosure when needed. “A seemingly 1970's vintage unit that has had no updates. The kitchen needs to be renovated and the sliding doors a very much in need of maintenance. The flyscreens are breaking down and need replacing. The carpet is in need of at least a professional clean or replacement.”

“If you’re wanting to stay just outside the heart of foster this is a fabulous place especially for boat enthusiasts. The house is very large to accommodate families or group of friends. The layout is spacious well thought out and child friendly. The property manager is a pleasure to deal with and very accommodating. Would highly recommend! ”

“This apartment is very well presented. Clean, comfortable and well located. It's just a quick walk to shops, the Rock Pool baths and the iconic bridge across to Forster. We would definitely return here. The aparment is situated on the top floor (3rd) and the building doesn't have a lift. There are 48 steps to negotiate with luggage & supplies, so this may not suit everyone.”
