“Clean beds and friendly staff kept this from being a total disaster but the Spark “renovations” were lipstick on a pig. The property itself is just a run-down motel with some new paint and wall art. The room smelled of cigarettes, the grounds looked like a junk yard, the piddly breakfast buffet was reduced to scraps by 7:50am, and the coffee consisted of a couple tubs of Folgers that sit out all day. You might as well just stay with a regular budget hotel rather than paying a premium just to……

“Very outdated rooms. The swimming pool was not available. Travelers need to be told/advised, including on the websites. This was one of the reasons I booked this facility.”
