Welcome to Budapest! This 1 bedroom flat has recently been refurbished and is furnished to very high standards. Whether for tourism or for business the flat is fantastically located. The City center is within easy reach by tube station or just hop on a bus or taxi. Attractions including the Heroes Square and the Museum of fine arts are within minutes of walking distance. Also, whatever your likes are: shopping, theatre, museum, musicals, restaurants of all continents, traditional pubs, international bars, happening nightlife, cultural or other sights are very near! East Station is just 500meters, where the National trains bring you to nice day trip destinations. Süßes, kleines Appartement im Innenhof eines typischen Budapester Wohnhauses in ruhiger, aber zentraler Lage. Metro, Straßenbahn und Bus sind fußläufig erreichbar und vor dem Haus zusätzlich eine Fahrradverleihstation. Gegenüber befindet sich ein kleines Einkaufszentrum mit einem Parkhaus. Viviana, die Vermieterin, ist sehr zuvorkommend, hilfsbereit und sympathisch. Die Kommunikation mit ihr lief sehr unkompliziert. Wir wären gerne noch geblieben…

Clean and well appointed apartment - close to most tourist locations

We were in Budapest (10 days) for a sports event and needed a place within walking distance with a kitchen and laundry options. This was the perfect fit. The unit was clean and well supplied. The owner had a gift basket ready for our arrival. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked, the wifi worked. Not a luxury apartment – if you’re expecting a big screen TV and large sofas – this isn’t for you. Good clean basic accommodations…affordable…we spent the difference on great dinners…we don’t base accommodations on staying indoors…priorities: clean, quiet, kitchen, laundry, wifi, safe, great location. This is a review (good and bad) ….you should know, it’s a little dated…but what isn’t in Europe (lol), it smelled a little musty upon entry...the unit needed airing out, it may have been closed for some time…after 2 days it was better. This is not a unit for the elderly (or unfit) the apartment is on the 3rd floor with a very tight and windy concrete stair case – there is no elevator. Also, the beds are situated in a loft above the living room – with very steep stairs leading to the loft. Also entry/exit into the bath tub to access the shower was very deep and may be difficult to maneuver for seniors. You should also know that the windows face the interior courtyard – not street facing. This is a secure indoor (tenants only) courtyard and can only be accessed upon entering the main locked door. The VRBO photos suggest the windows are street ward, they are not. However, it was very quiet – no outside noise whatsoever. The apartment is perfectly located for events at any of the stadiums near the Papp László Sports arena. We walked to the stadium and the core areas around the main train terminal, the Arena Mall and the thermal baths. Easy to get around. There is a grocery store (open until 9pm) right across the street – bakery, beer and wine options. There’s a discount store on the corner for all your needs...toothpaste, shampoo, umbrella etc.. We had no issues walking late at night – we never returned to the apartment any earlier than 830 pm, on occasion pass 10 pm…no safety concerns. But you need to be aware of your surroundings anywhere you go. We would return to this apartment. We were able to visit the core tourist areas and the money we saved from the 4 star hotel prices enabled us to enjoy other luxuries. Hope this was helpful.

Un appartement bien situé au Calme

La prise des clefs de l’appartement n’est pas simple, mais on y arrive et Viviana était toujours disponible pour nous aider. L’appartement est bien situé près de la gare et des transports en commun. Il est bien aménagé, en mezzanine, il faut baisser la tête. La cuisine et la salle de bains sont un peu vieillissantes, mais ce n’est nullement rédhibitoire. La cuisine le café, sucre, eau en bouteille, etc. étaient présents, c’est bien commode. Les deux ventilateurs sont les bienvenus par cette semaine de canicule. Je suis venu avec une voiture le parking qui va avec l’appartement se situe en face de l’appartement super-pratique. Nous avons passé 14 jours à Budapest… irréprochable. Dominique

Gute Lage mit W-Lan

Zu der Wohnung kann ein Stellplatz gemietet werden. Achtung: Es handelt sich um einen Stellplatz in einer Tiefgarage mit begrenzter Deckenhöhe. Schilder wiesen eine Hoehe von 1,80 m bzw 1,90 m aus. Unser Fiat Scudo passte gerade so hinein. Den Wohn- und Schlafraum ist gemütlich und konfortabel, Bad und Küchenecke empfand ich als eher einfach. Die Wohnung öffnet sich in einen ruhigen Innenhof.
