"This property is exceptional. We loved our stay there. It is garage adjacent, which is a separate building from the home, but it is right on the ( large) lot where the home is so if that will bother you, I would move on BUT keep reading!!. The host discloses this clearly as well. ( the hosts are very respectful and we never even saw anyone so don’t feel that you don’t have privacy) What I will say then though is that you would be missing out on a wonderful opportunity. The location is simply so gorgeous. You can take a brief walk out onto the dock and the Lake (or waterway) is just so serene. It is very very quiet and there’s lots of wildlife to see. There are two chairs out there and you could literally spend hours just looking and being quiet. The little apartment itself is also very well equipped and comfortable. We wanted for nothing. The kitchen is excellent as well. It really is an A place to stay and I would stay there again in a heartbeat, and I would highly recommend it."

"Island Cottage Inn exceeded every expectation. Tim and Kathy were unbelievably attentive, kind, and welcoming—truly outstanding hosts. I travel often and have never had such a consistently positive experience.
The location was ideal, and the surrounding community felt like the definition of a perfect beach town: laid-back, friendly, and inviting. This place isn’t just somewhere to stay—it’s somewhere you’re genuinely happy to be. I would return without hesitation and recommend it to anyone."
