“Our stay was perfect for what we needed which is rest, reset and refreshment when not working. We were surrounded by nature. The area was so peaceful and quiet. Our stay was cut short because of heavy rains and storms and some roads being impassible to the cabin.”

“It was a great cabin! We all enjoyed it very much! The hill to the water was brutal. I would recommend fixing that for clients or be more up front about it. It is dangerous unless you are about 11-35! The location was great and very easy to get to and close to town.”

“An absolutely wonderful experience! If you're looking for a cabin in a private secluded area that is completely safe I highly recommend the Birch Tree Cabin. It's less then 10 minutes from downtown Eminence and located in Ozark National Scenic Riverways. The Cabin is clean and nicely furnished and the host was extremely friendly and was available whenever we reached out. I will definitely stay with them any time I'm in the area...”

“The host could not BE any nicer or easy to work with. He let us stay late for the eclipse with no fuss. And mailed back a CPAP machine I accidentally left there. The cabin was exactly the right size for a getaway weekend to view the eclipse. Everything was clean, it is easy to find, bit feels remote. We want to explore the property next time we stay - cannot wait to find the creek! We think this could be our base when we float the Jack’s Fork. Excellent all around!”

“Exactly as described. Enjoyed walks with our dog down the quiet country road to the pretty creek. Very safe being off leash. Enjoyed kayaking with Windy outfitters just a few miles away. The town is also a few miles away with gas, groceries, eating places. Everyone is so friendly in Missouri! (We are from Illinois). Recommend the Pie Barn in town too. If you enjoy cooking you might bring some sharp knives, maybe a big pot and some dish towels. The hosts provide only one dish cloth and one dish……

“Cabin appeared to be an older updated River Cabin, but had newer Appliances, furniture, fixtures and paint. The moth ball smell was 'overwhelming' until we aired it out. It overlooks the river, with a beautiful view. Unless you plan a little hike, you'll want to drive down to the river and fire pit. Might be a little challenging for a small vehicle. Our stay was to kayak, parked a truck at the cabin landing and had no problems. Would deffinatley recommend, plenty of room and totally enjoyed or……

“We cane for the total eclipse and couldn’t have picked a better place. The community is friendly, the parks are fun and the house was the oerfect balance of old and new. The beds are comfortable and the firepit makes for great storytelling and s’mores. Highly recommend.”

“This cabin was perfect for our long weekend spent hiking some of Missouri’s nicest state parks. We had five adults and had plenty of room. It was beautifully decorated, perfectly supplied, clean and comfortable. The owner gave us his phone number and offered to help in any way. He was very prompt to answer when we had any questions.
