「Near BZE - ideal for a layover if required.
Staff were kind & professional. Surprised they could not recommend any providers for diving / snorkel activity in the Cayes - thought they should have a “link” or recommendations (got it from GOOG).
We were unable to get a river cruise (to see Manitees) as their boat was out for repair (ended up canoeing upriver for a mile & back). Given the small scale of biz, I suspect they have to be informed ahead of time if you want to rent their boat.」

「If you are looking for the jungle experience than this is the place for you. We were greeted by the local troop of Howler monkeys on arrival. Beautiful house right on the river. Locals had been seeing Manitee in the river near the house. Kenny and Shanna were great. We are already planning a return trip. 」

「We had a miserable time. It was unbearably hot (30C) and humid all the time we were there, in spite of the many fans throughout the house. (I know, my mistake in not checking on the availability of air conditioning beforehand). Worst of all though were the hordes of mosquitoes and other biting insects INSIDE the house. 「Triggerfish was great. We stayed one night transitioning from Caye Caulker to flying home. The pool was wonderful to lounge in on the provided floaties. We were able to walk to a great restaurant for dinner. The breakfast prior to our departure was perfect.」
