“The condo was lovely with amazing amenities. Very quiet but it was too far from trails, eateries, and other things to do. Had to drive everywhere and there was no view but there was a nice deck.Again very nice but just didn’t include some of the logistics I had hoped for. This was not our first time at Canaan but our first time at this property. Beware, there are steps from parking lot to unit but condo is one floor.”

“The house is in a great location to visit all the attractions in the area of the Canaan Valley of West Virginia. If you like hiking there are plenty of trails nearby. The house is pleasant, comfortable and well equipped. The owners Laurie and Chip are next door if you need any assistance. The mountain views are spectacular!”

“The moment I arrived at the site, even though it was dark and drizzling at 10 pm, I knew it was special. The frogs were singing and it was so beautiful. Larry brought me to the site even though it was so late. In the morning, I could not believe my eyes at the sun coming over the incredibly blue lake. I thought the blue was maybe a chemical, but Amber told me it is from limestone! Everything was perfect - the cabin was comfortable and cute and clean, the site was immaculate. “Alpha's Log Cabin in the woods exceeded our expectations held when we selected this location for our 37th anniversary get-away. The cabin itself is a wonderful lodging place located on a beautiful secluded wooded site where no other dwellings are in view, with a well-kept small yard and attractive flower/shrub beds that all served to give us a nestled-in, very comfortable feeling. “This is a cute little place that’s a 2 minute walk to the Fiddle! It was too cold to use the deck out back but there’s a small fire place and it’s hidden from the road. It has everything you need and a nice efficient kitchen. ”
