“Of all the places we stayed on our three-week trip, Le Doux Refuge was by far our favourite. Christine and Christoph made us feel at home from the very start, and they treated my father like he was the most important person in the world. That means a lot to me, It’s hard to know where to start when explaining why we loved it here. Firstly, the location: quiet, safe, local and with easy access to every possible location in Normandy. “When we arrived the owner greeted us and showed us to a lovely room we had booked, we only stayed the one night en route to our holiday destination and found the room clean and very comfortable . we were given lots of local information to find a bistro in the local town of Aunay sur Odon. The breakfast was well received and presented in a pleasant manner by Thom who was charming . we will have to come again next year and well worth a visit especially for a qiuck over night and as in our case……

“Jättetrevlig upplevelse. En stor gård ute på landsbygden. Lite svårt att hitta dit. Super trevlig värd. Vi kommunicerade via Google eftersom han inte kunde Engelska, men det gick jättebra. Åt en härlig fransk middag på gården. Enda negativa var lite hårda kuddar annars bra för någon natt. Lite annorlunda. Mycket värt att åka dit.”

“We had a nice stay at this location, though AC is not typical for most lodging in the area. Because there was no AC, we had to leave the windows open, which let quite a few small flies into our room. However, we really enjoyed the delicious breakfast prepared by the owners.”
