“I know we arrived 45 minutes early for check in, but the reception was a bit frosty. Got checked in, but did not even give me the opportunity to say we were happy to come back if we were too early. Room was in above average condition. Bathroom was nice, but had nothing other than bodywash and solid soap. (thought online booking said included shampoo etc.) Bed was okay, had far worse. TV was tiny, however it worked. Not overly noisy, except our neighbours got up, showered and left around 6am. Not……

“Lovely property, renovated (but not "restored") to high standard but modern electricals (great wifi, TV) and kitchen/baths. Spacious home, multiple eating areas, quiet street, and with a terrific host. Maldon is a charming small town and well-located to see the goldfields area. Only downside is there are only a couple of places in the town proper to dine out (Castlemaine is close). But a great place with all creature comforts.”

“Property was excellent in all areas that mattered to us as seniors. Clean comfort facilities and appliances accessible and access to management when necessary. The township and people were lovely, freely sharing information and knowledge. Weather on this occasion was perfect. Our only criticism is really one for council and authorities to improve. We found general road signage to be less than satisfactory when trying to follow maps and attractions brochures. Attractions need a lot more……
