「I tried to cancel with them on May 20 and they would not. They said I didn’t have a reservation and so they didn’t cancel and then they charged me for it on June 15 I negotiated it down and they should’ve gave me a full refund because they said I didn’t have a reservation」

「The room was very clean and comfortable. The A/C worked well and the mini fridge and microwave were functional. The breakfast was a bit simple, with the basic waffle maker, muffins, and cereal, but otherwise good.」

「My room was on the second floor and there was no elevator. Which is fine unless you are carrying heavy luggage.」

「We didn’t get the room we reserved due to no A/C. The desk clerk was high on something when trying to check in, could hardly understand her. Same way checking out. Observed her stumbling in the washer/dryer area. Room had live spiders in curtains, dead bugs in bathroom floor and hair on back of toilet tank. The whole property is very run down.」

「This hotel is one of the nicer places to stay in Mountain Home. It's not the Ritz - but it is CLEAN (don't let the main lobby area sway you - the rooms were spotless!), and the staff was constantly ABOVE AND BEYOND on asking if you need anything, asking if they can assist in anyway. I usually HATE hotel room carpets - but our room was nearly SPOTLESS. It was a hot day and our room AC was SUPER COLD! We didn't stay long, but the morning, freshly ground and brewed coffee was actually really good....

「Great location as far as the restaurant is in walking distance and another great restaurant right down the road, just about 5 miles for downtown Mountain View. Beautiful lake to sit on the deck and look at. You can not fish from your cabin, which was disappointing, the cabin is just basic. Clean and neat, but no amenities, whatsoever, but a beautiful location.」
