Lovely little cottage in what felt like a secluded area, despite the busy road right along side. Easy drive to all local attractions. Hand delivered breakfast and Kate’s attentiveness, made the stay extra enjoyable.

We stayed here while I was in the St. Helena hospital having a procedure done. It was very calming for me after I got released and my husband totally enjoyed his stay there while I was in the hospital. Kate, the owner was very accommodating and welcoming. It is only about 8 miles from the hospital which made it very convenient for hubby to go back and forth. The continental breakfast basket every morning was yummy with fresh fruit, rolls and juice, and coffee we could make in the cottage. The grounds are very nicely taken care of, and parking is right in front of the cottages.

Very nice cottage, with ultra comfortable bedding and pillows. Well thoughtout furniture and extras such as coffee maker, refrigerator and microwave, as well as, comfortable plush terry cloth robes! Continental breakfast was very good and brought directly to our room. Overall, a very nice stay.

No security.
It is a nice place but they have no security. Someone broke into our room and stole our jewelry. There are no cameras and no chain locks on the doors. It was a very big loss.

We are very sorry you are missing some of your belongings. Guest security at Aurora Park Cottages has never been in question and it is something we take very seriously. As the Innkeeper here since 2009, not once has there been any security issues. All cottages have a deadbolt lock and the Calistoga PD confirmed there was no forced entry. We do sincerely hope you are able to find your missing items.

We rented the two bedroom house which is beautiful but it faces the main road which is a double yellow line two way main thoroughfare through Napa. You could not open the windows if you didn’t want to hear road noise. We never sat on the deck for the same reason.

Quiet Cottage set amongst the Trees
Aurora Park is just right for a home base while exploring the history and offerings of Calistoga and the surrounding Napa wine country. Cottages are set in a line perpendicular to Foothill Blvd. and are nicely outfitted with comfy furnishings for a historical feel. The property has lovely mature trees and innkeepers are on site. Our cottage, #6, was the at the end and very quiet. We enjoyed the warm pastries, fresh fruit and juice delivered in a cloth-covered basket in the morning. Downtown Calistoga was a pleasant half mile down the road. It was a very nice stay, thank you.

There were little touches that just made the stay special (handwritten welcome note, ground coffee from local coffee shop, breakfast delivered, etc.). Very friendly and helpful staff. Our cottage was comfortable, clean, and nicely decorated.
