Royal Palm Beach Calypso Bay Waterpark Hotels

"I can't imagine how this place gets the ratings they have. The staff was friendly and responded to requests but in 6 days we never had anyone clean, bring towels, provide toilet paper, etc. This is an aging property that may once have been like a small inland resort, but now it's a grungy motel. Linens are grubby, lamps rusty, beds tiny... The pool is quite nice and lake view is pleasant if you get a room with a view. I’ve stayed in worse places and I've stayed in more expensive places, but the rates and the property are a mismatch for sure. "

"The A/C had issues and room was too cold or too hot left with sore throat. Was not too clean found hair in shower and sink. Floor was also kind of sticky. 3 floor smelled bad for the 3 days like an old folks home. Definitely not worth $175 a night."

"The VRBO is fine but there is no way to control heat or cool in the room. it depends on what the owner of the house has it set to. So the first night I froze and the last night I was sweating. There is also a dog that barks for very long periods which was very annoying when trying to get an early night"
