“The property was private but a close walk to the elk viewing area. It has nice size rooms with all essential amenities. We didn’t need anything. The place was very clean and comfortable. We are planning for next year already. A great place.”

“Very clean and functional . I would return. Very safe area. Would appreciate knowing about other properties by this host.”

“The location was great as it was in close proximity to elk viewing areas. With the property being situated among the trees the view from the back deck was serene. We appreciated that the property was pet friendly. We also appreciated how quickly the owner responded to our messages.”

“Nicole and Dan are incredible hostess/host! This is our second time staying here and we just love it! The property is spectacular, clean, and peaceful. It’s perfectly located for wildlife watching, hiking, and being one with nature. We highly recommend!”

“This place was freaking sweet”

“Everything was fantastic!! Such a great little getaway!!”

“This cabin is on of my special happy places. So serene. So accommodating is the host. And so full of surprising wildlife events. The lodge is very well stocked with all you will need. Bedding is super comfortable. Cozy is an understatement. If you are not enjoying the beauty of the outdoors you can relax inside with great tv and a newly remodeled kitchen that begs to be used. This host has left nothing out. Just enjoy.”

“There has been a lot of thought put into this wonderful cabin! We appreciated how clean it was, as I had my 9 month old baby with me. We flew in from Arizona so it was very helpful to have everything we needed. The key pad entry is super convenient. There is air conditioning for hot muggy days which is very nice! I felt as though the hosts did a great job with communicating about house rules and their availability should we have needed anything. This cabin will be a great a memory for us for……

“Wow, what a great place to stay, it was very close to family and places we wanted to go to. The cabin is in a very quiet area, we had deer, and 1 turkey come by. The cabin is very well cared for, and we really enjoyed our time there, looking forward to staying again next year.”

“We enjoyed our stay. Comfortable bed , nice shower, well equipped kitchen, dry wood for fire and relatively close to parks and hiking trails. You can't do a lot of stargazing from the property itself due to trees and light pollution but Cherry Springs viewing area is amazing.”

“Never had to contact the host. Everything was as described. It was an entirely pleasant experience with a calm restful atmosphere and a gorgeous old cabin. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to get away from the hassle of life and just enjoy nature. There are also a number of recommendations for places to visit and things to see. Thanks for the adventure!”

“It was absolutely amazing!”
