“Amazing service and beautiful grounds, but rooms need an update. The hotel environment is absolutely stunning, and the atmosphere is so relaxing. I also loved how functional and convenient the room amenities were—everything we needed was right there. However, I did notice that the facilities are getting a bit dated. “Vraiment un grand luxe d'avoir le parc de la Mauricie à 8 minutes en auto. Le petit chalet a tout le nécessaire pour être bien pour un petit séjour: la cuisine est bien équipée, et l'espace feu est vraiment un grand plus en hiver. Tout était parfaitement propre. J'aurais pris un peu plus de produits dans la salle de bain et malheureusement l'eau chaude ne fonctionnait pas bien dans la douche (mais on nous a dit que ça devait être réparé dans la semaine). Il faut savoir que les autres chalets……

“It was -12 on Portage Lake and we cranked the heat pump up to 75. The Birds Nest cabin needs another heat source. Upstairs was cold when we got back at 10:30 pm after leaving the heat on all day in the cabin.The two full size beds that are pictured is one that’s on the bottom of a metal bunk bed frame and the other is upstairs where the roof is pitched so one side has no head room to accommodate two grown adults.New owners shut the water off for the winter. Didn’t know that until the day we left……

They'll get you.\n But had a wonderful stay and will be back. The black won't bother you after Like 9 or 10 o'clock. And iwas like damn look at the shower head that's crazy.”
