“Everything was excellent. The food was fantastic, the service was spot-on and polite, and the area is quiet and relaxing. It was so nice not to be around the hustle and bustle of a traditional hotel. Loved the charm of the house. ”

“The Yellow House is a wonderful B and B for a relaxing weekend. The owner is very conscientious and his breakfasts reflect that. There was always hot coffee available in the mornings and snacks, including home made cookies, during the day. The house is very clean and well kept. Our bed was a little small and therefore, I found it hard to sleep well. The next time we stay here I would request a room with a larger bed. I would definitely return for a weekend here. ”

“At the time of booking a bed-and-breakfast I thought that breakfast would be included and be prepared by cook. But I got breakfast in a bag in refrigerator to take to my room. If I would’ve known prior to booking the bed and breakfast I would’ve not to stay there.”

“We could not recommend highly enough. Willy and Shoney are great hosts. Three-course breakfasts were amazing. Homemade cookies set out as take-aways every day. Free glasses of wine on the porch in the evening. Wonderful live music included on Saturday night. On-point advice about what to do around Asheville. All in a beautiful and historic home. I don't know what they could do to make it better. Just a fantastic place to stay.”

“The Henderson is a very charming and rustic place to stay. It is in a great location and is very convienent to the local shops, restaurants and pubs. The host and staff are very friendly and accommodating. They provide two choices for breakfast each morning. The meals are delicious. We plan on making the Henderson our play to stay when visiting my hometown of Hendersonville, NC. ”

“Wonderful property. Delicious breakfasts are included and we really appreciate how the staff remembered our dietary restrictions and served us something delicious every day. Super convenient to some great downtown restaurants and Biltmore. Only down side is it's off a busy road--and you will hear traffic noise. But don't let that deter you. ”

“Lots of old-school charm in this historic home and beautiful property. Very comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. Anna and Richard were very welcoming, friendly and most attentive. The on-site waterfall and restaurant were an added bonus, and the food was excellent! I would definitely return again!”
