“Super relaxing,stunning outlook. Outdoor and indoor fires perfect for any weather. So lovely waking up to moo cows. Great place to be off grid but easy drive to Kin Kin.”

“We loved the layout and beautiful touches, like sunset table, kitchen, hammock, books and comfortable bed. The shower was very cool and gave a nice view of the beautiful horses feeding on the lush grass next door. We had great fun cooking a delicious meal on the fire pit and being mesmerised by the stars. They provided the best coffee I have ever tasted!!! Communication was fantastic and Avon is a lovely human! Very impressed and will be returning soon for another stay. Thanks Avon for having us……

“We spent two nights at Kookaburra Cabin. It's a nice space with privacy and our own grassy area bordered by lovely tall Gum trees and rainforest. The cabin had everything we needed to make our meals. We loved the colored lights in the ceiling and some other quirky touches. The bed was comfortable (nice linen sheets). The outside drop-loo was novel and worked well. Great bush views from the loo! Cesar and Eva were really welcoming and told us all about what to do around there. We went for a……

The area is lovely and well positioned for visiting multiple areas around Queensland. The owners are very knowledgable about the area and tourist options and their open, friendly and prompt communication is excellent.”

“What an amazing peaceful place. We stayed 2 nights here for Mother’s Day weekend, my wife and 2 little girls and pretty much had the property to our selfs. Cabin was clean and had a good feel to it. My little girls loved the cows and horses coming up to the fence line every day, we walked down to the creek wich is beautiful and tranquil and the horses came up to us for a pat wich was an amazing experience for the girls. Will definitely come back and bring some friends to fill the other cabins……

“As soon as you opened the back door, you could smell fresh air. You could hear nature. Lovely outlook at the back. Backing on to a bush setting. The bird life was amazing. The yard was secure for pets and children. The bath was great for a soak. It was a great find. Very quiet neighbourhood. ”

“Home away from home with all of the appliances and furnishings to make our stay very comfortable. The front door was a bit of a challenge, the vinyl flooring was was tacky and when I wore my white socks around the first night the bottoms were filthy.”

“It was a beautiful property. It was quiet, clean and spacious. There aren’t any ceiling fans or AC but they do provide pedastool fans and the house is quite cool. The puppies loved the space to run around too. ”

“Coming from the USA, we had never seen a kangaroo outside of a zoo. This place was AMAZING!! It surpassed every expectation we had, the bed was comfortable, everyone was very nice, and watching the kangaroos in the evening and mornings is something we will never forget!!”
