We made a very last minute booking to the hotel and arrived just 20 minutes later. Kimberley on reception was amazing, helping us with a smooth check in and a really warm welcome. She got us a table in the restaurant too where we had a lovely dinner and great breakfast the next morning. The room in this old historical inn was very clean and comfy. Low doors and winding staircases add to the historial fun. The gardens are very well kept and pretty and we enjoyed exploring them after breakfast.

Everyone was so friendly from the time we checked in.... to the tea we had....to the glorious Valentine's Meal we consumed. I would give this little 'kitchy' spot an excellent review-- and would stay here again!!.

Howfield Manor is a really lovely hotel. Quite a unique venue. The staff were so helpful. This is my second time at the hotel yesterday was for sisters Celebration of Life. We were in the marque which was beautifully laid out, the food was extremely good and the staff were very helpful. We had a lovely room which was very clean and we had a superb view of the gardens. Highly recommended.

I stayed at the manor for 1 night, I have to say the whole experience was excellent, from the moment I arrived i was treated to such good customer service. All the staff were amazing and made me feel welcome. I went for dinner in the restaurant and the food was so nice great quality and once again great service. Slept so well. So quiet in the evening. I will be back thankyou.

Could have been better tbh. Showing signs of wear, with poor soundproofing between rooms and very poor water pressure to the upper floor meaning we couldn't have a shower! Breakfast good , service helpful, nice grounds, located outside Canterbury but not far from the park and ride .

A pleasant stay.

The staff were friendly, polite and helpful. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was in need of some refurbishment and the shower was poor. However, Howfield Manor is a beautiful building and even in December the grounds were lovely. I would like to stay there again.

Beautiful remote place to stay, just 5 minutes by car from the city center of Manchester. The manor is embeddet in a nice garden with sufficient distance from the main street to keep the noise away. The cosy rooms are clean and provide sufficient space for a relaxed stay. The low water pressure caused the water to drip from the showerhead and made showering a challenge. This should be improved.

不滿：客房舒適度

Not as advertised.

I booked this hotel specifically because it advertised air conditioning and I like to support local hotels wherever I stay over corporate hotels as often as I can. Unfortunately this hotel advertised air conditioning which was one of my preferences but actually does not have air conditioning so on one of the hottest weeks of the year I was unable to get any sleep and when I challenged the advert at reception I was informed that a fan was available, my room was a ground floor with people walking around so unfortunately I could not have the windows open due to security and all in all a very bad nights rest, I will never stay at this hotel again.
