“Very clean and comfortable house surrounded by the forest. Kitchen is fully equipped. The dirt path towards the house needs work otherwise your car could get stuck. definitely need a 4 wheeler vehicle. We saw monkeys and toucans in the morning. Very calm and quiet stay it was. “Quiet and comfortable place to stay in Monteverde! Easy to grab a bus to the cloud forest or walk to the a couple of coffee shops/restaurants. There's also a waterfall across the street that you can swim in.”

“Unfortunately, when we arrived at the property - around 5 p.m., it was to discover that, in spite of our reservation, there were no rooms available. The manager/owner was very apologetic for the mix-up and made several calls to secure alternate accomodation for us. However, that was more expensive and we needed to move from one place to another to cover our 4 day stay with 2 nights in each place. It was pretty disappointing!”
