"This little taste of heaven is so relaxing and welcoming with it's garden like yard, pool and accommodations...and only 1 block from the beautiful and swimmer friendly Playas del Coco. If you want a secure and relaxing refuge without the hustle and bustle of a large hotel with tons of people, this is for you. It is slightly removed from the main shopping area of PdC but walkable with several restaurants within 10 minutes walk. I would definitely go back to Villa del Sol Boutique Hotel."

"Stayed at Condovac la Costa in April. The views are excellent and the pools are a standout—well designed with great scenery and a very relaxing atmosphere. The food was good, and the staff was consistently excellent—friendly, attentive, and helpful throughout the stay. On the downside, several amenities were closed or not operational during the visit, which limited the overall experience. The property also needs more consistent maintenance, as some areas feel worn and not as well kept as expected. Overall, a good stay with strong service and great views, but there’s clear room for improvement on upkeep and availability of amenities."

"My experience at this hotel was completely unacceptable and deeply concerning. From the moment we arrived, the staff displayed a dismissive and unprofessional attitude, particularly when addressing issues that were the result of their own errors. There was no effort made to accommodate or resolve problems—instead, we were consistently ignored or brushed aside. On multiple occasions, we requested assistance and were met with indifference. At one point, we called the front desk for help and the call was abruptly disconnected. It became increasingly clear that we were not being treated with the same level of respect or attention as other guests, which made the situation even more troubling. The conditions of the property were also far below standard. There was no effective bug or fly control, and the absence of air conditioning in extremely hot weather made the stay highly uncomfortable. The food quality was extremely poor, forcing us to spend significant additional money elsewhere just to have proper meals. Attempts to resolve concerns were consistently unsuccessful. Staff would speak among themselves in a way that excluded us from understanding the conversation, and no meaningful solutions were ever provided. When asking about transportation, we were directed toward services that appeared unreliable and significantly overpriced. Even more alarming were the privacy and security issues. Despite clearly displaying a “Do Not Disturb” sign, staff entered our room without permis"

"This is a gorgeous property but not as all inclusive as you'd think for the price.They try to get you to a timeshare meeting when you arrive but they aren't too pushy. Then, as you go, you find out there are a lot of "yes, buts". For example, we asked a bartender if we could take a bottle of wine back to our room with us and he said yes just call room service. So we did and they said the limit was 2 glasses and it would be a 45 minute wait. The staff were friendly but you had to pay mucho out of pocket to get all-inclusive type service. Will look for another resort next time we go back. Costa Rica is beautiful and has great culture. Not as cheap as say, Mexico, but paradise. "
