「The room was filthy. The bed had pubic hairs and other things I have no idea what it was in the bed. My legs have itched since I left. I slept half the night in the car. The room smelled horrible. The shower was so dirty I didn't even want to shower in it. I have no idea how this place has the rating it did. Even if the bed was not filthy, it was horribly uncomfortable as well. The car was more comfortable. Honestly. Stay anywhere else.」

「Very clean - beautiful view」

「Buen precio, buena ubicacion y tranquilo」

「We enjoyed our stay here. The cabin was clean and very cozy.」

「This cabin has everything you need, all we had to do was buy groceries. Kitchen, bathroom, laundry, outside and inside fully stocked with almost everything you may need. One of things I loved most about it. At 5am, with your coffee, sitting on the porch swing, still dark, and getting to listen to the local owl residents. Only thing I did not care for, the street light located next to the cabin. Not good for star gazing. Solution located just few hundred feet away as you walk down to the lake,...

「Beautiful place, a great place to relax and it was quiet.」

「Our week stay was ok but there are several maintenance and upkeep issues that could have made our stay fantastic. There were a lot of spiders inside the house and the house has a very strong musty odor. The odor was so strong I could smell it on items when I unpacked from our trip. The flooring was coming apart and in some places was sticking up. The grill wasn’t cleaned and the igniter didn’t work. The kitchen pans and the outdoor furniture/cushions need to be replaced/updated. Some of the...

「Host was friendly and accommodating. Cabin was as expected and clean. 」

「This property was misrepresented. The cabin was run-down, dirty, and NOT by the lake and there was no beach access. The canoes and life vest were filthy and not water safe. The grill outside and across the drive from the so-called cabin was rusted completely out and was only the shell of a grill. The musty-moldy smell inside the cabin made it difficult to breath. We did not stay.」

「Cabin was very clean , hosts were friendly & helpful . Nice place to stay for fishing trips on Lake Barkley.」

「This house was perfect. Located in a quiet, friendly neighborhood, it have just like being at home. It has a well stocked kitchen, many games and things to entertain children, comfortable beds and well stocked bathrooms. It has everything we needed for an almost weeklong stay. John and Julie even provided dog beds for our doggies. It was very dog friendly without any signs of being a dog friendly place (if that makes sense!). The fenced backyard, grill and table & chairs made the outdoor space a...

「Excellent property. Check in was easy with no issues. Very clean and well organized.」

「Nice place, had a relaxing time.」

「This is our second time staying at the property. The host was quick to respond and check in was easy. The home is clean and comfortable and a great location to kick back and relax. We really enjoyed hanging out by the firepit every evening at sunset. The kitchen is well stocked if you decide to cook on your get away. The game room is a nice spot to hang out for kids of all ages! We'd definitely stay at this property again and recommend to our friends.」

「This was a fabulous cottage for us! We really enjoyed the screened in porch were we could see the water. It was well appointed, very clean, and exactly what we needed for our little R&R filled getaway. Highly recommend!!」

「The cleanliness of the house could have been better. Yard needed mowed, fridge was not the cleanest, bathroom was like only cleaned the middle and not the tub or around toilet. The house sets in a great peaceful area. So relaxing to sit outside and listen to nature. Host was GREAT! Details about check in and things to do.... checked in during stay. Great!」
