“Our stay in early November 2025 was outstanding! The entry instructions were faultless, and we entered to an impeccably clean and pleasantly welcoming condo. There was a great supply of towels and bedding (we made use of the pull-out sofa - our adult daughter said it was VERY comfortable!) and beach towels. And the large walk-in closet meant there was lots of room for our daughter to unpack, it did not feel at all cluttered with three adults staying there :)We used the kitchen and it was……

Reviewer Comments: Fuimos para una boda que se estaba celebrando en el Hotel Marriot por lo que no disfrutamos mucho de las instalaciones mas sin embargo fuimos al Beach Club, un rato a la playa y luego a la piscina dentro del complejo de habitaciones. “Los Suenos is a 90-minute drive from San Jose. My wife and first visited the resort when it opened in 2000 and since that time it has been maintained beautifully. The Altavista units are located on a hillside with a clear view of Playa Herradura and the resort is an easy few minutes golf cart ride if you choose to rent one (recommended for stays over more than a couple days). Our host was responsive and flexible to our needs once we booked and the check-in process straight forward. Amenities……

“Yes! Beautiful townhome, with clean rooms and fully stocked kitchen; gorgeous pool and grounds. Owner was very responsive and easy to communicate with. Close to beach, restaurants and markets. Felt very safe staying here. ”

“Great place and very clean. Any issues we had Sergio resounded quickly to fix any issues and offered many recommendations since we weren’t familiar with the area. There is a new condo building going up in front of this one so the view was 75% obstructed and it was a little noisy. Very safe area and had no issues while on property. Restaurants within a 15-20 min drive, get your groceries before as the store next door is pricey. Would book again :) ”

“Kitchen was well equipped. Property was neat and clean with plenty of towels and extra blankets for the beds. Nice, gated and quiet community. Disappointing that the gas bbq was replaced with a charcoal bbq and no lighter. Found the bidet pretty much non functional with poor water pressure, plus it didnt drain well and occasionally leaked. Otherwise the bathrooms were nicely appointed . Would have been handy to have a small step stool so shorter people could reach the dishes in kitchen……
