“Great communication from host before and during stay, answering questions and addressing requests. Property was pristine and just as photos show. Water was HOT, as long as you followed the instructions suggested by the host. Simple breakfast items eggs, oatmeal, coffee and a few refrigerated items made for quick breakfasts before exploring. Location is just out of town and far enough off the road in the forest to deaden any sound. Would 100% consider renting a few of the other units if we visit……

“Overall, we had a nice stay. The home is in a development of what look like vacation homes a mile or so outside of town. Although the development is gated, the guard wasn’t present several times and we had to open the UNLOCKED gate ourselves (not exactly secure).The home is spacious; most of the rooms are good sized. The primary bedroom on the second floor has a very nice, big balcony that looks out on the volcano; we spent a couple mornings there drinking coffee. A couple of downsides to the……

“real hard to find. Name is not on entrance, directions lacking. Even neighbor did not know of the place/owner. Only thing with hot water was shower and it was mickey mouse (no directions on how to use it.) When you flush toilet there is an awful loud noise and it backs up into kitchen sink. No hot tub as per info on web site. No ventilation in bath so it fogs up bad. Privacy is a problem-curtains do NOT cover properly. There is construction next door. ……

“Friendly owner on site who showed us all the plants on his property. Allowed our kids to squeeze sugar cane and make cane juice one morning. Clean and easy property. ”
