“The view outside the window is beautiful, the room is clean, and the staff are very friendly.”

“Overall the stay was pleasant. The staff at front desk and restaurant were excellent. The property is going through a renovation so hard to truly judge cleanliness but there was a lot of stuff hanging about and elevators were untidy. The fridge in room didn't work and hot water takes a while to get going. Parking was okay but lower lot made me nervous. But the stay met my needs and the room was comfortable with a great view.”

“No shoes allowed from the front door throughout the hotel. So take some slippers!! The owner makes you feel like you are invading here space and makes you feel like her time is more important than the customers time. There are lots of rules and $100 potential fine if you make a sound or wear your shoes. The owner can be quite sarcastic . Lastly She was upset by the amount paid. I booked online so they set the price not me.”

“The room was good. it was clean, well arranged and the staff were helpful. I was a bit concerned that the door that connects the rooms below to the back of the building was open when I got into the room. If I didn't check that it was locked I would have slept with the door open which is a security issue. These doors should remain locked unless opened by the traveller.”

“Restaurant for our late lunch good. Hotel is old and shows in arms. Most clean and beds comfortable. Bathroom needs a face-lift.”

“This location is perfect for anyone taking the ferry to or from Newfoundland. Nothing fancy or spectacular. Overall just average. Takes hot water awhile to arrive.”
