Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had so much fun staying here! Everything was provided for including linens, trashbags, even dish soap. The house itself was beautiful. We especially loved all of the art! We also appreciated the shed full of beach toys.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The scape worked for what we needed but wasn’t fully and properly cleaned. Property was very obviously not fully vacuumed upon our arrival. The house also seemed to be in some disrepair, shower head handle was loose, some doors missing knobs/loose, door frames shifted (leaving gaps when doors closed). In addition it seemed to be quite dangerous that all the glass on windows and doors was single pane and not tempered.

Lovely spot for two families (two couples, three kids total) to spend a few days exploring Cape Charles. Fantastic communication with rental agency and a well-appointed, gorgeous old home, would absolutely stay here again. One of the adult bedrooms is connected to the kids’ room, however you can come and go through a cute little winding staircase that attaches to the kitchen so you don’t have to go through the kids’ room to enter and exit… but, would be an issue for someone with motility challenges! We thought it was fun. The house is in a nice location on a quiet, historic street… definitely recommend renting a golf cart for getting to and from the beach as it’s just under a mile. Property is clean and well-maintained, only minor issue is the downstairs bathroom doorknob needs to be secured. Cute touches like the owners’ paintings of local places and the string lights out back make it feel very special!

The library was the perfect size for the baby's pack n play. The mattresses were AMAZING! Rental houses and their ****** mattresses have become the bane of my existence so I was pleasantly surprised to sleep on the memory foam mattresses at Fun in the Sun. THANK YOU OWNERS for putting some extra money into decent mattresses. Overall this house was really comfortable, decorated beautifully and I hope we will be back. If I had to pick on thing to improve, the kitchen is dark at night and could use more lighting.

It was only a couple blocks from the park where we enjoyed the concert on Saturday night. The back yard was a great place to get morning sun and we love hanging out on the front porch in the evenings. We had access to bikes and cornhole, which was very convenient. It was also pet friendly, so it was a great location for our family. We had a wonderful time.

This was a charming home, and very clean. The neighborhood was friendly and quiet. The beds were comfortable. Be aware that the TV is not connected to cable or dish, but is a Smart TV. We would happily stay here again.

This house is nicely appointed and was very clean. The beds and linens were very comfortable! A couple things: the tv didn’t work for us and would be nice to have a curtain for the outside shower. We had a great time and will definitely be back again to stay at this adorable house! Thank you!

623 Monroe Street was nice and just as described on the website. We were pleased to be able to rent for a partial week. Sadly, several things at Cape Charles were closed for various reasons, but that is certainly not the property owners' fault.

The location is great because everything is within walking distance. We enjoyed a seafood boil in the backyard under the lights and we used the two seater bikes as a team building activity. We used the dining room as our war room and it allowed for plenty of space for the 5 of us to collaborate. The house has plenty of charm and is beautifully decorated.

We ADORED this house! We've been coming to Cape Charles for 7 years and this is a favorite! We loved the charm and utilized all the amenities! Our kids were deveatated to leave (the adults were too, haha). Thanks for sharing your sweet home.
