The house was immaculate and beautifully decorated. It gave all of us a warm home feeling (we took so many pictures to have ideas that we will implement in our own home). We arrived in the middle of a snowstorm, and it was great to have the one-car attached garage, a heating system that worked well, someone who plowed the driveway and shoveled the snow shortly after we arrived, and a comfortable hot shower. “We rented this lovely home over Thanksgiving last year and were so delighted with everything it had to offer we decided to rent it this year for our Thanksgiving celebration. It's quiet, clean, well laid out and has a well stocked kitchen for cooking. It is located near local restaurants and beaches should one choose to venture out, The hosts are most gracious and communication was prompt. They even had wonderful personal touches-homemade soap in the bathrooms and fresh flowers on the table to……

“The house and surroundings were lovely. On this trip we stayed in two houses back-to-back, one in Cape Cod and this one. This one was by far the better house. The house has 5 suites, all with private baths, perfect for us, as a large group. The kitchen is well equipped and spacious. The washer/dryer set up is very nice.”

“Late April in Maine means empty beaches… and this cottage was perfect for a short vacation where solitude, dog walks along the beach, reading and sleeping was the addenda. We did go out to dinner twice… the Earth at Hidden pond and Via Sophia by the Sea… both minutes away… both 5 star restaurants that did not disappoint.”

“My sister & I took my mother & father (Nana & Papa) on a trip to this beautiful house in April 2024. The house location was breathtaking & the house was amazing. The only small issue we had was the wear on the TV room table, chairs (I was nervous to have my 84 year old parents sit in them the legs were not sturdy) & the upstairs shower head started spraying every where by the 3rd day prior to that the shower was heaven. I just think making these small changes would make for a safer stay but I do……

“We got off to a rough start with a broken keypad. It was absolutely poring and the code did not work to get into the house. After great difficulty with service, we contacted the owner and located a key to get in. The house is beautiful with lots of space. There was plenty of room for six women. The house was close to restaurants and shopping. We had a very nice experience. Our only issue was the cleanliness of the house. I spoke to the owner about it and they acknowledged that there were issues……

“Beautiful property and very clean. In a quiet neighborhood with lots of privacy. 5 min ride to the beach. The hot tub was a wonderful asset in winter. Suggestions to earn the 5th star: The kitchen could use improvement: in absence of a dishwasher a drying rack for dishes would be great to have. We only found 1 wine glass in the cabinets - might be good to restock to a full set of 2 :) The water pressure in the bathroom sink is very low, but in the shower it is fine. I would definitely……

“This property and its owner couldn't have been better. The house is perfect for a family and I have never had a house that was as well-stocked with everything we could imagine. This house had it all. The location was perfect for visits to several beaches, Portland and its iconic Old Port, Portland Headlight and a trip on a lobster fishing boat for the young ones. And, any correspondence I had with the owner was answered quickly.”

“We stayed a few nights in November while in town for a wedding. The apartment was just as pictured and described, with extra blankets and such for warming up. I had an issue with the fireplace in the bedroom not coming on. I contacted the property manager who reached out to the owner and someone was there to fix it within an hour. Only other negative was the hot water in the shower didn’t last very long. Otherwise, I’d was very cozy and comfortable, very quiet at night. The apartment is close……

“This house was perfect for me, my married kids, their spouses, and my grandkids. The house was very clean and spacious. It rained the whole time, but we still had a great time. And Shannon, who manages the property, was very helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. Hope to return next year.”

“We really enjoyed our stay. We loved being able to walk to the Eastern Promenade. The beds, including the sofa bed were very comfortable. Very cute and cozy There are stairs to enter the building for anyone with mobility issues. If you are unfamiliar with older buildings, the radiators do make some noise while heating in the winter.”

“Great little condo. Right on the beach! Balcony is wonderful, as is the view from the master. Second bedroom is definitely a “kids” room with the two bunk beds. Garage was great for a car, would not fit the height of a truck”
