Das Ferienhaus ist schön und gut gelegen. Leider gab es in einem 500m entfernten Ferienhaus extrem viel Lärm und laute Musik. Der Vermieter hatte uns versprochen und auch nochmalige Nachfrage erklärt das wir alleine im Ferienhaus sind. Aber nach 3 Tagen klamen weitere Gäste. Was den Aufenthalt doch stark einschränckte.

Charmante maison entourée d'Oliviers ou règne le calme. Vue imprenable sur la mer et la nature. Chemin d'accès jusqu'à la maison qui peut être un peu complexe avec un véhicule bas ou de nuit. Intérieur efficace avec ce qu'il faut pour passer un bon séjour. Très belle piscine pour se baigner et bronzer. Grande terrasse abritée pour déjeuner et diner à l'ombre, avec la vue sur Rocca di Capri Leone et la mer !

Lovely holiday

Family: 2 teens, dad and mom had a very nice holiday and enjoyed the place and pool all by our selves. Gorgeous view from the terrace and pool area.We recommend a car with automattic gear to the 'bumpy' road the last 500 metres.We had a visit several times a day of a little cat family, please feed them. ;)We recommend to visit Taormina and Cefalú. Once we had pizza to go down town and enjoyed the sunset at the beach.Thanks for a very nice holiday.

Toen we aankwamen via een zeer slecht pad met stenen en spoorvorming, waar de onderkant van de auto ook aansloeg, schrokken we behoorlijk. Het appartement viel mee, het uitzicht en het zwembad was mooi. Op de 2de dag kwamen 2 heren uit Duitsland, deze stelden zich voor als de beheerders van de appartementen. Het viel ons tegen dat beide appartementen direct naast elkaar lagen. Verder was er 1 terras met 2 tafels, op dat moment geen wifi wegens het veranderen van profider, We begonnen ons toch te irriteren wegens het gebrek aan privacy en de slechte weg. 1 dag kwamen we terug en zagen 1 van de heren in zijn adams kostuum naar boven gaan vanaf het zwembad. Prima als men dit doet als je alleen bent, maar niet als bij gasten. Daarop hebben we besloten om toch iets anders te zoeken, we moesten nog een week. We hebben de eigenaar op de hoogte gebracht dat we weggingen wegens de slechte weg, geen wifi en het gebrek aan privacy, Daarop kregen we een bericht terug dat dit allemaal in de omschrijving stond en hier nog nooit over geklaagd was. Na een week hebben we contact opgenomen met VRBO om toch een klacht in te dienen. Deze zei dat we dit voortaan direct moesten doen. VRBO heeft toen contact opgenomen met de eigenaar en deze heeft een zeer kleine geboden. Hiermee zijn we niet akkoord gegaan, we moesten voor vertrek nog geld betalen voor schoonmaakkosten! Na contact met de eigenaar zou deze overleg hebben met zijn vrouw en contact met ons opnemen, dit moet nog gebeuren…..

Week in Sicily

Beautiful property in lovely surroundings. The house was equipped with everything needed and the log burner was an unexpected and welcomed surprise as we had a couple of stormy days so we were able to snuggle in front of it. Information from the owner on local eateries and places to visit was extremely useful and his directions to locate the house were invaluable. Overall a great stay the only disappointment was that we expected to have total privacy at the house, however a relative of the owner arrived the same day as ourselves and explained that he would be staying in the adjoining building for the next 3 months. A very nice and friendly gentleman but we were looking forward to our own company for the week.

Un séjour très agréable

Nous nous sommes sentis comme chez dans la maison Oliveto, située dans un cadre naturel exceptionnel. Nous avons apprécié le confort du logement, bien équipé et la piscine et sa terrasse. Les environs offrent de belles visites. Nous recommandons chaleureusement ce bel endroit.

You will never tire of the view. Lovely location. Property has everything you need. The only issues and they are are small ones is that you dont have access to the entire property. The drive up is not for the faint hearted.The neighbours dogs and hornets were also a bit annoying.

Amazing views

The villa was everything we could have wished for. It had a functional indoor space with everything you need and an excellent shower. The outdoor space was huge, with a big verandah and bbq area. The pool was a good size and when not exploring Palermo, Etna, the Aolean Islands or Capo D'orlando we were enjoying villa days, up to 12 hours in the pool. We picked nearby lemons to enjoy in iced water. Out of consideration we replaced anything we used, including foil, toilet roll, hand wash and pool inflatables. Antonio was helpful and answered any questions we had, he put in a big fan to help with the heat. The drive to it from the main road was tricky - take your time, but totally worth the draw-dropping views and seclusion. We took our two daughters aged 14 and 11 who loved it too. Capri Leone had everything we needed, supermarkets, post office, hardware store. Chimera pizza restaurant was delicious, large good-priced pizzas. Incredible memories, thank you.

Könnte mehr Charme haben

Die Lage ist im Grunde schön mit Blick auf das Meer. Ruhig ist es auch öfters, wenn man von der vor dem Tal verlaufenden Autobahn und den Hunden der Nachbarn absieht. Die Einrichtung und Ausstattung versetzt ein direkt in die 80er Jahre zurück. Typische Ausstattung mit zusammengetragenen und abgelegten Einrichtungsgegenständen. Die Matratze des Bettes war durchgelegen. Poolausstattung hat schon bessere Zeiten gesehen, Liegen und Sonnenschirm teilweise eingerissen. Aber im Grunde ist alles vorhanden was man benötigt. Die Anzeige erwähnt zwar eine Doppelhaushälfte. Wir sind davon ausgegangen die Anlage zur alleinigen Nutzung zu haben. Wir erfuhren durch Zufall, dass die zweite Wohnung zum Wochenende ebenfalls vermietet bzw. durch die Familie genutzt wird. Das sollte deutlich aus der Anzeige hervorgehen. Die Außenküche konnten wir zunächst nicht nutzen, da der Strom abgestellt war und die Gasflasche leer war. Beides konnte relativ schnell über die Ansprechpartner vor Ort gelöst werden. Der Küstenort selbst hält keine Überraschungen bereit, zum Einkaufen der nötigsten Dinge ist es ok. Das war es dann aber auch. Sizilien hat attraktivere Orte.

Traum im Olivenhain

Es ist ein traumhafter Ort, mit tollem Ausblick und super Infrastruktur. Es sind eindrückliche Fahrten mit dem Auto oder Fahrrad in der Region und dem Nebrodi möglich, wo auch Wanderungen möglich sind. Unkomplizierte und freundliche Gastgeber!

Beautiful place

Set in stunning location . Just a short drive into the mountains from Rocca di capri leone. Has everything you need including a lovely big pool. Great base to explore the area - though you might want just to stay at the property!

Logement offrant vue et piscine superbes

Logement confortable, bien équipé, offrant une superbe vue sur mer et oliveraie, piscine privative très agreable.Le logement est un peu difficile à trouver la 1ere fois, il faut aller tout au bout du chemin.La gestion des dechets est compliquée car un seul type de déchet est relevé chaque jour. Prevoir 60 euros pour le menage, information précisée en allemand dans l'annonce. Pour la visite des Iles Eoliennes il semblerait qu'un depart soit possible tout près à Capo d'Orlando.

Traumhafter Ort

Wunderbarer Ort um sich zu erholen. Ohne Auto nicht zu empfehlen, aber mit Auto kann man dort aus tolle Ausflüge machen. Der Gastgeber stellt hier gute, kompakte Empfehlungen zusammen. Das Ferienhaus ist gut ausgestattet. Der Pool und der Garten wunderbar gepflegt. Auf einer traumhaft großen Terrasse kann man den herrlichen Meerblick und wunderschöne Sonnenuntergänge genießen. Wir werden wieder kommen.

Tolles Ferienhaus

Das Ferienhaus ist wunderschön und es gibt dort fast alles was man benötigt. Der Pool ist großartig und wird regelmäßig gereinigt. Die Ausstattung ist umfangreich und komfortabel. In der Nähe gibt es viele Strände und die Autobahn ist in wenigen Minuten zu erreichen. Einziger Hinweis: wir hatten teilweise über 40 Grad im Schatten und das Haus heizt sich auf. Es wäre eine Klimaanlage sehr sinnvoll. Aber sonst ist alles große Klasse!

Wundervolles Ferienhaus mit einmaligem Blick auf das Thyrrenische Meer

Wir haben uns im Oliveto sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Anfahrt ist steil und abenteuerlich, wir hatten uns aber nach zwei Tagen daran gewöhnt und es war selbst bei Regen kein Problem zum Haus zu gelangen. Das Haus liegt sehr ruhig und die Lage ist exklusiv. Der Olivenhain ist wunderschön. Es gibt einen Pool, der sauber ist und regelmäßig gewartet wird. Die Terrasse ist riesig und überdacht. Alles ist gut durchdacht, die Küche ist voll ausgestattet und modern. Es gibt einen Kamin und Feuerholz, das war für unsere Reisezeit Ende April sehr praktisch. Die Gegend ist nicht sehr touristisch, das ist vielleicht Geschmackssache, für uns war es toll und genau das richtige. Der Kontakt mit den Besitzern ist super und jederzeit möglich.
