Breakfast was wonderful! Don’t be in a hurry! I was leary when I arrived in the dark…but fell in love with the place in the daylight! It was a great adventure! No glass windows…only screens. The frogs were loud…but slept so good! If you like noise machines, you will love it! The bedroom had a fan if needed. They had beach equipment to borrow if wanted. A wonderful snorkeling spot was next to the National Park…just a few miles from the Dragonfly Ranch. The ocean view was amazing! Barbara (and her staff) was a great hostess!

The breakfast food was healthy and good. The bathroom facilities are quaint - toilet and shower in one space - outside the room. Watch for a frog in the toilet! It did have an ocean view from the dining area. Very fun place if you're into alternative lifestyles. Enjoyed seeing the outdoor areas - garden, illuminarium, paths, many neat plants and trees. The frog and geko chorus at night would have kept me awake if I didn't use ear plugs. Good experience for one night!

We were in the Lomi Lomi room and I loved the view of the ocean from it. The room has a unique decor that makes the experience even better. The bed was cozy and clean. There is also a comunal kitchen and fridge just putside the room.

The room decor is very unique and full of history. The back yard is full of surprises with nature and even a forest movement studio! Stuff are very friendly and easy to talk to. The owner herself is nice to chat with. Breakfast is included and delicious and healthy! We love this place!!

We loved our stay here. We only stayed one night because we had other places to explore on the island, but we would have loved to spend more time at Barbara's residence. It's a very peaceful place with lush vegetation and soothing decor. We spent the night in the Lomilomi room, which was beautifully decorated (refined, harmonious, serene) and spacious. We arrived in the evening, but in the morning we were able to enjoy the superb view of the sea and the cliffs in the distance from the room. Every detail has been taken care of, making you want to stay. I've never had the opportunity to sleep in this kind of unusual room before. On top of that, we slept very well, the bedding is very good. You can hear the faint sound of frogs, but it doesn't bother you at all, and if it does, earplugs are provided. I actually found it very pleasant. The icing on the cake was the excellent and varied breakfast prepared by the team, which you can enjoy on a beautiful terrace while admiring the view. I highly recommend this somewhat magical place.

We loved our stay at Dragonfly Ranch. The location is out of the way but perfect for seeing the beauty and splendor that is Hawaii. The people are kind and interesting. It's not for everyone. You are quite immersed in nature. There will be geckos in your room and the birds and insects are right outside. It's almost like camping with a comfy bed.

This isn't really a hotel, it's some sort of hippy commune. So, as long as you coming looking for inner nirvana, you're ok...but, the first thing I saw was the dead cockroach, followed by the lizard and the frog...but that's not what bothered me, the issue is they say you have a private bathroom - which is partially true, however, it's outside, not in your room. So after I fought the frogs off, I could use the facilities...also, it's some sort of artist gathering and they were yelling at each other and playing guitars well into the night, so the whole place is just like a dirty old campfire with bad boyscouts and girlscouts...not a hotel, don't go looking for a hotel. The gym facility is more like you running around killing bugs (since the rooms don't have doors, they get in...). Book at your own risk.
