Caracol Mayan site in Belize. It's he largest known Mayan site, estimating over 120,000 population. There are hundreds of structures, but only about 20% of them have been excavated. It was never discovered by the Spanish, so it's really well preserved. Since this site has about 3 hours of dirt roads to get to it, it's virtually deserted. Was amazing to wander around and envision the metropolis it once was.
