「Great value and good quality throughout. Room was a good size, well equipped and clean. Plentiful parking and gardens were immaculate. Restaurant was more of a pub style theme and good value with a good selection for breakfast for the breakfast serving.」

「Lovely family run property with character. Large car park across the road £6.50 for 24 hrs (hotel has small carpark at back). Ideal walking distance for Racecourse and town centre.」

「Awful hotel. Booked a suite and checked out after just 20 minutes. The music from a party was so loud that the bathroom vibrated. No staff available for 45 minutes when trying to complain so ended up just leaving. The rooms are no as shown and there are stains and dust everywhere. This is an embarrassment to the mercure group. Very little to no help from Expedia either.」

「I think the 4 pm checking in time needs looking at as the park closes at 6 u don't have enough time to go round so basically u lose a day I stayed for 2 nights and paid over £500 and only got one day there I think that's way to much money for basically a day trip with」

「A really large bed and tv with plenty of choice . Blackout blinds and an extra fan to combat the hot weather .No real room service though and no on site staff to chat with, although plenty of info of who to contact for any issues . I found the room door lock fiddly at first but then realised that you have to run your fingers all over it to activate it and light it up. Once that happens then enter your code and you are in . Really good shower but the dispensers could have done with being topped...
