Similar in character to Ivy Cottage with whitewashed walls, flagstone floors and exposed beams, Swallow Cottage can sleep 3, Main bedroom on ground floor with Ground floor shower room an alternate tread wooden staircase takes you up to a quaint gallery attic bedroom.
So named because before conversion it was a stable and home to families of swallows who returned year after year for the summer months.

Today it is a country park run by Neath Port Talbot Council and has many family attractions (petting farm, miniature railway and many trails to walk. There are even the remains of an 11th century abbey on the site to explore. The "castle" is actually a comfortable Victorian era country house, one of many "mock" castles built in the 19th century during the Gothic Revival. Lovely cottage

We stayed in swallow cottage. It was spotless, and very well equipped. We all loved Molly the dog, she is adorable. We had a tour of the farm and watched the cows being milked it was very interesting. The Milk and cream tasted delicious. We would highly recommend to everyone

Fantastic stay!

What impressed me the most about our stay was all the little touches- everything had been so thoughtfully done and considered to make our stay perfect. For example, the bespoke book detailing information about the area, our welcome gifts, communication, right down to the extra towels, bbq and door hooks! Everything was fantastically clean and the shower was brilliant. Liz was so accommodating and friendly. Thank you for a perfect stay.
