"We rented a room with 2 double beds. They were the smallest double beds I’ve ever come across. In the future, I’ll for sure go for a King sized bed! Location near a walking / biking trail is great! Also enjoyed the outdoor seating area overlooking the road."

"IMy husband and I have stayed in many VRBO’s over the years, but Tettagouche Lodge is hands-down the BEST of them all! The owners (Anne and Sarah) answered every little question I had prior to our arrival, the house is absolutely spectacular, and the setting is beyond beautiful! It was the perfect place to gather our adult kids and some of our grandkids to spend time together. We played games, enjoyed cooking/eating great meals, hiking in the state parks, and even swimming in the Baptism River. Oh, and the beds and linens were soooo dreamy. Thank you, Anne and Sarah, for sharing your little piece of heaven on earth with our family!"

"The view was wonderful, and the staff was very helpful. There was a smoky odor in the room, either from the fireplaces in the other units or from the firepit outside. The floor plan of the bathroom in the third-floor room was odd. The open door blocked the sink. We had a little trouble figuring out the A/C controls, so the room was a little too warm. We greatly appreciated the free EV charging stations. They were never ICEd while we were there. We underestimated how tiring the 32 stair steps from the car to the room would be. Hiking to the high falls at Tettegouche State Park the day before (108 steps!) probably didn't help."

"The balcony overlooking the lake was superb. The room was quiet and comfortable. The breakfast was minimal but effective for starting out the day. The lounge area in the main lodge was very comfortable. Parking was adequate. The staff was warm and welcoming. A very nice restaurant is only a short drive. Numerous shops (in towns and along the way) over a nice selection."

"Wow, what a special place to spend a long weekend! Lake Superior is cold, so if you are not familiar, make sure to bring some warm clothes for when the breeze is off the lake. For those who are familiar and love the water, this was a great place for kids to jump in, swim around, and then race to a roaring campfire to get them warm again. The handful of other similar rentals in the development weren't noisy or bothersome. Location and small stores in the area were a plus. Decent coffee is almost walkable, decent gas station/convenience store is very close. Lutsen is close, and Split Rock and Grand Marais, though opposite directions, were easy drives. Would definitely book again and recommend highly."

"We thought the room was great, clean and a beautiful view of Lake Superior. The property was beautiful with a great walking trail all the way around it. Only thing I would say is it would have been great to have blackout curtains in the room, it gets light out around 4am. But all in all it’s a great place to stay and great pricing for the 3 nights we were there and all the free amenities and accommodation are also a great perk!"

"This was our second stay in this cabin. We stayed there last fall and again this spring. The size of the cabin is perfect for the two of us and our dogs. It’s well-equipped for cooking if we feel like it. We really enjoy being right on Lake Superior and watching the lake. It’s a wonderful base camp for North Shore adventures. We highly recommend this cabin."

"Rooms clean, staff was great and knowledgeable pool and hot tub were great , kitchen was a little lacking in things to use for cooking and the coffee pot was not the greatest had to google how to use it after three attempts with hot coffee water everywhere could update those things but otherwise ok. Decks and stairs are a little scary could be updated but overall good "
