“The house was huge and had all kinds of games and areas to hangout. The beds were comfortable, and there were plenty of bathrooms. There was lots of food and drink that we were free to have some of, which was a nice surprise. There was plenty of land to explore with maps provided, and ample firewood already split. The record amount of rainfall caused a leak in one room and the AC wasn't working when we arrived, but Jason fixed the issues quickly. Overall it was an awesome place for a guy's trip.”

“Ultra clean, very cutely decorated, and furnished with waters, clean utensils, wonderful beds, and a comfy living room arrangement. We were in town for Mother's Day and we were the envy of the family in this home! It was a lot of fun, normally a place to stay out of town is kind of a wash, you always compromise on something, but not here! If you're staying in Litchfield for whatever reason, give this house a look! Especially for the Picker's Market, every second Sunday, it's right up the road!……

“The Girard house is a beautiful home decorated with nostalgia from the Route 66 days. Quiet peaceful setting. The home had everything we needed except a washer/dryer. The ice cream shop just a couple blocks away offered 50 amazing flavors of ice cream!! We highly recommend this house for anyone traveling through the area!”

The hosts were very responsive and friendly, and as evidenced in the house they put a lot of effort into making it a nice place for guests to stay, it’s perfect for a single or a couple, the interior was updated throughout, they selected furniture and fixtures that fit appropriately in the spaces so although it’s a smaller home, it didn’t feel super cramped, and created an environment that was……
