Prime location

Great location and amenities. Love the view from the patio and the sound of waves. Fire pit was very nice to gather around at night. Garage is long and would fit a truck. Looking forward to our next visit.

You won’t find better than this.

We’ve been renting vacation properties for many years — VRBO and others. This is the best of them. The location and amenities are extraordinary. BUT the house itself is fabulous. Sitting out front around the gas fire pit. Spreading out around the table. Sitting on the couch and watching the fun outside. Seeing the ocean at all time. Just across from the beach AND the beach walk. And you will never get better instructions and directions. It’s a perfect 10. Hard to leave such beauty. Hope we can return someday.

Relaxing time in Carlsbad

My wife and I spent 2 weeks at this nice property. The location is great with easy access to the village and beach. We watched the sunset from the patio every night. The beds and linens are very comfortable. The kitchen is well supplied with most utensils. My one complaint was the knifes were dull but that is true about every short term rental I have ever been in. The garage is a nice convenience. It was also stocked with bikes and all the beach stuff you will need for a great day on the beach.

Couldn’t beat the location of this property. In the heart of the village in Carlsbad. I felt like we had our own private entrance to the beach which was great.

Great week

We had a great week in Carlsbad. The house is in the perfect location to get to the beach quickly and easily. Beds are comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked. The fire pits are a great touch to spend more time outside. We used the cruisers to ride around in Carlsbad and Oceanside. During the day it does get a little loud with the 101 right out front but the nights are so nice. Great house, we hope to stay again!

Fun property with great Beach access!

Great house with everything you need. Beach access so close, fun “people watching” location. We could walk to the village and beach which is why I liked this spot. Loved having access to the chairs and umbrellas and biggie boards Also. Comfortable beds- and the AC was amazing on this especially HOT weekend. Not sure we could have survived without it!

This was a great property in a prime location. Our family enjoyed it! The proximity to Legoland and to the beach made it ideal with 2 toddlers.

Perfect getaway

This place was just amazing. The beds were comfy, and you are steps away from the beach. We truly felt like we were in a place of luxury. Anything we needed for an enjoyable beach vacation was taken care of... towels, beach toys, beach chairs and umbrellas. There were even bikes to ride. Just bring your suit and you’ll be ready for a fun vacation.

Wonderful location, amazing beach, and great beds and pillows!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time here! Pros: Crosswalk located at the house and then just down the steps you go right on to the beach! Beach is amazing although it was a bit too cold to go boogie boarding, there are great waves for that! Super comfortable beds and pillows. They have 4 bikes to share for both units and bogie boards and great sand toys for the kids. You can walk to the village and it was an enjoyable walk either through the neighborhood or ocean sidewalk. The firepit and BBQ grill were a nice amenity. Customer service is very responsive and pleasant. Cons: No oven. Very busy street so you need to be careful if you have young children and they can wander out the small gate easily from the patio. I would have felt more secure with my 2 young boys in the upstairs Pelican suite where they couldn't leave when outside. The street is noisy. Unit is very clean, except some of the walls could use a cleaning and I did find a dead bug in between the mixing bowls (granted they probably don't get used very often so perhaps ask cleaning crew to look at that every so often). But overall it is a wonderful location that we would love to visit again! Thank you!

The room was great. We could sit and just look at the ocean or cross the street to walk by it.

This room was one of the best I've stayed at in Carlsbad. Great location and beautiful scenery. The road is close but so is the ocean. We will stay again

This property is fantastic and the location CAN NOT be beat.

The place is fantastic. Some will say that it's noisy (its loud during the day), but it's right next to the water. RIGHT next to the water. Just like you want to be next to the water, so does everybody else! People like to drive next to it, run next to it, bike next to it, and walk next to it. We found that "people parade" to be amazing from sun up to sun down! The very best thing about the property is that you're LITERALLY right across the street from the access steps to the beach. Coincidentally, it's at a crosswalk making it instant any time you want to get across the street to those beach access steps. Many have written about the location for this particular facility and you really can't say enough about the proximity. But I didn't see a lot of people talking about the readiness of the property though. This property has nice beach chairs, nice bikes, and nice beach "stuff"! But what it also has is great inside family stuff. We brought a crock-pot, and a blender with us in hopes of eating a bit healthier...both of those things were already there, along with EVERYTHING you need. We'll travel much lighter when we return to this property, and we plan to! Now we know all we have to do is get there. The management team was very responsive to us at every point of this process, leading up to, during, and after the rental of the property. They were so very professional! This group has anticipated your needs and really put some "brainstorm like" thought into what you need and where you need it! Little things, like skewers for s'mores... like a hook to hold the door EXACTLY where you need it to unload the car (from your private garage!). A place to privately shower off after the beach, then quickly "sneak" inside (without being seen). I can't say enough good things! It's set the bar so high for our family that I'm wondering if we can ever go anywhere else....seriously! The door that opens to the patio is indeed as awesome as it looks! So I'm completely fair I'll try to come up with some constructive criticism . I thought the pull down curtains (they're there...not pictured) could be a bit thicker for evening privacy....but their perfect during the day though....so it's tough for me to even criticize that. It's a fantastic property, it really is!

Loved this bright and airy space with modern touches, located just across the street from the beach.

Our family of 4 had a very enjoyable vacation at this property. We really appreciated all of the extra details, like beach towels to borrow and even a creativity box and games in the closet for bored kids. Being able to walk across the street to the beach made for a stress free vacation with young kids - no need to worry about staying all day, we just walked home for naps and then back again in the afternoon! We were able to visit the Oceanside pier, Carlsbad tide pools, and see the sea lions at La Jolla Cove. Our only tips would be to bring earplugs or white noise since the house borders a busy street. Also, the bedrooms have sun screens but no curtains, so bring a sleep mask if you’re light sensitive. We loved this location and this well cared for property and have plans to return soon!

Fabulous vacation rental

We recently stayed in the Dolphin suite with three of our children and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location is fabulous with the beach right across the street. The unit was very clean and well equipped with everything we needed. It has an impressive patio with a great outdoor fire which we enjoyed daily. It had all the details that make your stay comfortable such as cozy duvets on the beds that smelled delicious to the shower that had the best water pressure ever! Our kids used the surfboard and boogie boards every day. We were also lucky enough to catch the Carlsbad 5000 which is a series of 5k races that ran right outside our door. The location is central to everything you could ask for. We would love to visit again.

Relaxing. Refreshing. Peaceful. Perfect

This place is just one of the very best in town. First, the management is so attentive to detail and so kind. Missy met us at the venue and gave a tour of the space. She made sure we knew all the details. They provide a great notebook with everything you would need to know to manage the beach house. A very nice touch with a welcome bag & bottle of wine also! The branding for their management company is so cute and you see throughout the space, including the embroidered bathrobes! You will not find many rentals like this! Here are some highlights! AC that works very well, new appliances, full size washer/dryer, every beach toy, board, chair, umbrella, towel, bike, you would ever need for your retreat. It's the little touches that are great too, offering plenty of paper towel, TP, laundry detergent, dish soap, sponges, coffee filters, cooking seasoning, BBQ grill, welcome bag, notebook with area ideas, easy to use tech/wifi, Smart TVs, plenty of floor fans (which are good to block the street noise), the view from the deck is pretty awesome, you are on a street with direct beach access (very convenient), complete keyless entry making it very nice for going to the beach, fire pit on patio (even though we did not use, they look beautiful), You can book both units for a larger family which would be lovely, the garage was a great size for 2 large SUV's and still room in the driveway remaining and probably more I am forgetting. There are only a few drawbacks because it's only fair to mention - but seriously, this is a PERFECT retreat location! It's quite modern, so bedrooms are only separated by very thick sliding doors so no way to lock if you were with others and the location on the street is a bit loud on the weekend with street traffic if you have the doors open (which you will). You don't want to miss this place & the staff that manage it. We were celebrating our 20th Anniversary and let me just say - they went WAY OVER THE TOP to make this an extra special time for my husband and I. We have never had a company be so generous. This place will not disappoint. Enjoy~
