Fantastic stopover on trip down south . Recently refurbished with great food and exceptional staff. Room was a tad small however this was balanced with cleanliness and really nice toiletries. Really enjoyed 2 nights at this property. Our room was clean and comfortable with a view over the peaceful countryside. Although not large we had what we needed. The staff were friendly and helpful adding to the cosy atmosphere in the bar/lounge/dining areas. Breakfast was more than adequate and would recommend the restaurant meals.

Because it’s an old property there isn’t enough plug sockets in the room & trying to do my hair without a mirror by a socket & somewhere to sit was pretty impossible So if your not bothered with this it’s a fine place to stay Missed fresh fruit at breakfast
