A pleasant, convenient stopover on our road trip This was a really nice spot to break up our road trip. The on-site bar was a highlight, offering a great food and drink menu alongside warm, attentive service from the staff. Having a quality breakfast included in the stay was a definite plus and set us up well for the drive ahead. The room itself was slightly dated, but everything was clean, functional, and comfortable enough for a good night's sleep. Overall, we were very pleased with our stay and found it to be great value for a driving stopover.

A comfortable hotel with very helpful staff. I had a room facing the garden (Room 6) which, in such good weather, was a bit noisy late into the evening. Dinner and breakfast were good, but I would have liked some fruit with breakfast.

Homely and comfortable. Good cooked breakfast. Shower in our room wouldn't fully adjust and was dangerously hot. Close to beach and lovely walks.

A great place to stay, particularly if travelling with a furry companion. There are many great walks from the hotel and easy access to beaches. The hotel is welcoming, the staff very friendly and the food is great quality, with mainly local ingredients. There is much to see and do in the area, including RSPB Leighton Moss, Arnside Knot and Arnside village which has good cafes and shops and great views of the Lake District.

I stayed at the Silverdale Hotel for one night. I had a lovely warm welcome as I checked in. all the staff I had contact either were really helpful. The room was as described on the website. I had an evening meal which was all home-cooked to a very high standard as was breakfast the following morning. I would certainly stay at the Silverdale hotel again.

This hotel had a rating of 9.6 when I booked. It deserves at least that it is excellent. The staff are fantastic and the food is great. The ambience in the bars is superb. A lot of thought has gone into the decor to make this the most welcoming and relaxing place to stay.
